In Nov the club put forward the application to discharge some conditions that we applied to the build, just waiting for that to go to committee I guess as it says it’s pending decision.

I noticed a post on another forum claiming  We are losing cat1 status because we cannot afford to keep it.

Surely that is not right.

Has anyone heard rumours about the Academy

Nothing to do with not affording it.

It’s to do with not meeting the conditions we were given when we got temporary Cat 1 provision.

We haven’t met all of the infrastructure requirements and we are ‘hopeful’ that the assessors are kind to us.

Having said that some other academies have recently lost Cat 1 so it is far from certain.

Would be a big blow should we lose it.
