Im pretty sure if Brennan were to score I would be up and cheering to be honest.
I've always been England first followed by Wales because I am 25% Welsh.
My grandad was from Wrexham.
Me too sniff. 25% welsh. I didnt realise until recently. My dad just dropped it in a conversation that his absentee dad was Welsh.
Are we related then Pap?
Probably. We must be. Aren't all the Welsh related somehow?

I supporting Wales this WC.
I don't really have an affinity for the England team anymore.

Thats why I asked the question Sniffer. Think there are quite a few people who are as patriotic as they come but dont really identify with the England football team.

For me supporting your country is not like choosing which club team to support.
Although I am 25% Welsh and I like Wales I am an Englishman and even if Wales had 11 Forest player's playing for them and England had none I would still be supporting England.

This is where I'm at too.
I'm 100% English, born & bred in Nottingham but I've slowly lost all interest in international football over the last few years. I try to watch it but find it boring & 9 times out of 10 I'll end up switching it off before the end.
Absolutely nothing overrides my love for all things Nottingham Forest so when there are 3 Forest players in the Welsh team, that's where my interest will be. It might also help that I've lived in Wales for the last 26 years, although I have previously enjoyed the banter with the locals so that's not a huge factor.
I dunno, maybe when it gets started I'll feel differently but at this moment I'm happy to be an adopted Welshman.

I sort of get it, particularly if you've lived in Wales for so long. I mean I've lived in York since I was 18 and I consider myself an adopted Yorkshireman.
That said, seems a weird time to not be a fan of the England team. We currently have a very likeable team/manager with players that are socially aware and a team that is even reasonably successful. Not expecting loads this time round but still will be backing them. Also, it's great being able to enjoy games with all your mates whereas Forest games I tend to rely heavily on sympathy support.

Qatar is not dry at all. About £7 a pint in most places.
Going to opening ceremony and game tomorrow.
I just can't get enough being sung by England fans now...After 3 days of non stop singing it.
Chant of the night " There will be no budweiser in Qatar.."
