Giraldi's record at Watford was very good. During his time there they stayed in the PL for 5 seasons and reached the FA Cup final which for a smallish club like Watford is a fantastic achievement.

He's not come here to take a back seat and I am 100% sure he will be the one who choses our next Coach and I dare say that he's probably already working on it.

There's absolutely no chance Giraldi gets 5 seasons here

Article by Will Unwin tonight. Usual stuff and criticism but this paragraph caught my eye especially considering the debate a few of us were having earlier.

Well Miltos doesn’t exactly come out of the article smelling of roses either but you said he had nothing to do with it? I agree you cant pick and choose which bits of journalism you agree with.

If you want to look at objectively according to stories we have seen those responsible for the recruitment failure in the main are Cooper and Miltos. But the people whohave got the sack are Syrianos and Scott who were simply following orders and trying to bring good value young talent into the club.

As long as Cooper and Syrianos were informed and they agreed then where is the problem. You said before yourself SM that there is nothing wrong with it.

Are you telling me that Cooper and Syrianos were not informed about the signings of Lingard, Cheihkou Kouyaté, Remo Freuler, Willy Boly, Serge Aurier and Emmanuel Dennis.

If so how do you know that?

This is supposed to be about Cooper not wanting Spence, Garner, Davies and Zinc but everybody ignores that and want to blame the Greeks again. I know you are a DT fan and you don't like the Greeks very much but you should try to be a bit more balanced SM with the greatest of respect.

Also note I was the first person to flag up the article and the part that blames Cooper for the lack of signings from last seasons team.

I am very disappointed in him if thats the case and I think a major reason we are failing this year.
Is that worth the sack? It’s probably more deserving of the sack than the 2 members of the recruitment team who have been sacked.

Like I have said before I think you need to open your eyes to the level of Miltos’ involvement and the fact letting a 23 year old have a major say in the running of a premier league club may not be wise.
