It was dire, all round and yes Cooper looks and sounded like a dead man walking. I also heard we had a 72% pass accuracy, that's dire.

I think I will take a week out and hopefully it will all have been a bad dream.

For me this is the biggest issue, the passing is so poor and they always turn round and pass it backwards. They just don't pass the ball fast enough or with enough power to allow the next player to move it quicker.

You're probably right Wassy but I don't accept that we have to concede defeat like this even against poor sides. If we do then the planning for next year's championship season has already begun. These players of ours are still good footballers so it's something beyond their control that has collapsed it seems to me. Maybe Steven Reid was the tactical expert and the driver of belief with his boss being the front man.

I don't know the answer. All 3 possibly..

we saw last year that cooper was in fact a good coach, played good football and played to win. We also saw when things weren't working he would change things pretty quickly. We saw players play good football (e.g. Johnson). This year it's got worse as the games go on.

The last 2 games we've scrapped any attacking threat for solid defensive displays but that's not done much. we still invite pressure and far too many chances against. That has resulted in 1 point from arguably 2 of the worst underperforming sides we will play this season and if we are honest have looked worse.

No chance about Steven Reid. People are grasping at straws. We got promoted too early. We didn’t keep enough players from last year. We recruited poorly. We have had some key injuries. Cooper underestimated the premiership quality and played too open in first 7 games. He has adopted a pragmatic approach.

Most of us I think would prefer to go down with some effort applied to damage the opposition, to press them, to attack them and yes most of the time get beat by them. No shame or humilation then we could figure it out during the summer and come again better. These performances will see us at Accrington and Shrewsbury in two years.

Yes we definitely.needed to go to the hard to beat tactic after Leicester.. 

lots of people tearing into Johnson on SM.. even I've.mentioned him but people need to remember he's only 21 and it's not just his fault we are so bad

In fairness to Cooper, I would have set up the same today. I was still in stop the rot mode. If we'd have got a point today we could have at least grown some confidence. What's worrying me is that the forward players look pathetic in thiz system.  They can't string 3 passes together. We can play away in a low block but you've then got to hurt teams on the break.  We didn't do it.

Someone in our social media team needs a serious bollocking


Wolves' match-winner Ruben Neves alerted his team-mates to the pre-match social media wind-up that backfired badly on Nottingham Forest at Molineux.

In the build-up to their 1-0 defeat, Forest's official Twitter account posted a mock-up picture of striker Emmanuel Dennis sat on the pitch at the City Ground with three wolf cubs calmly sat with him, with the caption 'Playtime'.

The post was subsequently deleted, but not before Neves had forwarded it to the Wolves squad.

Neves went on to score the only goal from the penalty spot to lift Wolves out of the relegation zone and leave Forest bottom of the Premier League.

Wolves then posted 'Playtime's over', together with a picture of an axe embedded in a tree trunk.

"Yes, we were aware of it," said Wolves interim manager Steve Davis. "We were going to use it in the talk but Ruben said he put it on the players' chat so I didn't need to say any more.

"Those sort of things used to happen on the pitch. That doesn't happen so much now, but it gave us an edge."
