I totally understand what you are saying SM and I took no pleasure either in what I said before.
I think you are right regarding EM.

I understand the Cooper in brigade I really do and I have no problem with that.
Personally though I think we need to gamble and pull the trigger, sorry for the lack of sentiment and I take no pleasure in saying it. If it was my decision I would pull the trigger and I am very sad to have to say that.

By the way Sniff I will never advocate getting rid of Cooper, I just dont believe it will achieve anything long term and Im certain he remains a brilliant manager. However I can understand the call for change and the fact that EM isnt the type to just sit and watch the inevitable unfold without trying something.

I just hope we can show some improvement so that we don't go down with such a low total that it makes it take a while to rebuild next year.

I do wonder too if there is a clause in Coopers new contract which allows him to walk or at least part company with a minimal pay off.

I never understood the jubilation when Cooper was extended personally. Hes made some poor mistakes this sesson and continues to do so But, Pep wouldn't be able to keep us up this year we're so far behind the level so wadda you do? If he keeps trying to do the same thing, and we continue to get beat then he'll be gone. I'd say hell get the next 3 games and then hes out. That will give the new guy 2 home games (Brentford and Palace) before the world cup break.

If we loose Tuesday and Saturday I think he will be gone. It’s a crying shame. Win or draw today and we had a fighting chance - wolves weren’t much better than us - nor were Villa but these are the games we need points from.
All other teams I e watched have so much more assurance on the ball and embedded systems of play. We have just gone to every man behind the ball and try an hit on the break. After the goal Today we actually went hoof ball and had some joy. Brennan scores his penalty and we get a decent point. That’s not on cooper. Also his in game decisions are becoming a bit baffling to me - Dennis off was a shocker - it should have been Brennan - as at least Dennis was being a pain for defenders. Recruitment has been shocking - and some players have shown a distinct lack of ability and desire.

Both gamed he's started he's got into good positions but then he just tries to run past people rather than bring other players in. Even my gf watching today pointed out that guy just goes for the glory himself.

Assume there will have to be some book balancing if we are relegated but I do wonder if we will even be close to getting our money back if we try to sell those we brought in this year.

At least Dennis tries to affect the game. And he can receive the ball under pressure (a bit). Johnson is just a complete passenger. Dennis on the right and Awoniyi in the middle for me. Been saying it for weeks.
