Care to elaborate?
What do you mean by position we find ourselves in? Recruitment wise an admission the squad isnt what we wanted or that there was no consistent plan? Or simply the feeling players who we brought in werent good enough/ we overpaid which is a bit early to judge in 8 games.
Or do you simply mean an investigation as to why we sit bottom of the league which is fairly clear to those of us who have watched the games.

Bottom of the league, poor performances, why they are happening etc, did we make mistakes with recruitment, don't think we will leave any stone unturned. Personally I welcome it and I think it's a good thing although I realise that some won't agree which is fine.

Giraldi may well come to that conclusion I suppose it depends on what his findings will be. Let him do his job and we will see.
One thing is for sure though and that is that he hasn't been appointed without a reason.

I'm OK with it, if it leads to a better structure going forward. I mean it was clear that the business this summer was a bit disjointed. Partly due to the sheer number and hectic nature of it. We're not going to be signing 22 players every summer (you'd hope!).
Although if we go down I'd expect a lot of turnover in both directions of players that we can't afford/don't fancy the championship.

I would much rather Giraldi come in and we are supporting Cooper and giving him a network around him. The alternative would have been to completely tear up the existing structure and sack Cooper, Dane and Syrianos. Hopefully this way we’re planning for staying in the division and also planning for consolidating if we are relegated with Cooper still in charge.

I think one of if not the biggest problem we had /have is the players do not seem fit, fast or sharp enough maybe due to our coaches etc being championship previously not elite premier level experienced
we just seem to slow and have little or no pace in the team when added to our poor injury list and here we are

Steve Cooke was released by Bournemouth when they dropped into the Championship as he was past it and not good enough for the EPL for Bournemouth.
They subsequently went up Auto - so proven correct.
Why are we playing him as a started in the PL ? That surely must be looked at. We have shipped goals in left right and centre and lost so much - in that time perhaps Bade or someone else could have got up to match speed playing some games ?
Is it good man management to keep playing a player who is not good enough for the PL and getting way too old ? Or would it better to play a younger one who can improve to become good in the PL with match time ?
There are a lot of questions hanging over Coopers head..........and hopefully, as part of the new contract - a lot of these have been asked and perhaps we will see a new direction on Monday.
Once again, the team he picks on Monday will be very interesting - has everyone moved on and we plan for the future with the new contract done ? or same again crap ?
