Did anyone look at team sheet and think it was the right team.
How can most of us pick a better team?
I look at the players we have and think we can match quite a few Prem teams. But each week we are looking worse, more desperate and lack ideas.

Have we though? The majority of our players have either no evidence of playing well in the prem or alternatively appear to be passed their time to be at the top.

I don't think many of these players would get in other teams from what we've seen so far.

Henderson might. But apart from him, none of our players gets in any other prem side.

Exactly- the spaces between players are too big and we are too passive. Have a feeling cooper may walk anyway.

Don't get that impression from his post match interview.

You're not the only one, give him time. It's only been 8 games, they're learning, not fast enough but they're still learning.

Whatever DR. Three quarters of the teams in the league would have taken him had they been able to afford him. He looked a good signing at the time but he's just not committed to us for some reason.  Its his fault it's not worked out, not the club's.

I also dont think McKenna, Cook and Worrall are bad and can succeed, just dont play high line.

Niakhate and Mangala have been injured. 

As for the rest, put it this way, if Dennis and Freuler can't get in this team, how are they possibly getting in a better team?!

Back line is too slow so we sign three quick centre backs
One is injured but the other two don’t even make the bench.
Why?
Surely they couldn’t be any worse?

Do you think that's why we lost though? The lack of central midfielders in first half was painful.

The back line drops too deep so the central midfield are obliged to do the same and that allows opposition midfielders to play between the lines and press us in the back third.
But I agree it’s not the midfield I’d have started with.
