Thank God for that. Now lets get Freuler up to speed and give them a run of games together.

“Orel did come back into training. But he’s had a bit of a setback,” the Reds head coach said.

“It’s nothing too major, but it’s just set him back a day or two. Apart from that, we are as we were.”

From Cooper's press conference today.

Ive like what Ive seen of Mangala but dont really see what he offers above OBrien. If someone thinks he is better please enlighten me?
Dont get me wrong we will never win games with Colback and Yates both there. Freuler and OBrien however looks as strong as we have, putting Mangala in would be much of a much IMO.

He's definately a starter then. Cooper is the worst blagger out. I bet the dog was constantly eating his homework when he was a lad.

Not entirely sure why, but Moussa Niakhate has been named in Senegal's squad for their forthcoming matches against Bolivia and Iran (as has Cheikhou Koyate).

Because his injury was never as bad as Cooper intimated !
It was a hamstring injury, no operation required.
His family said after he’d done it that he would only be about 3 weeks.
He’ll be available for us after the international break.

Coops always is glass half empty re timescales for injuries

I saw the post from the journalist saying that, but then there's been nothing said about it since.

Hope it's right of course but I'm sceptical.

Niakhate pictured at Senegal’s training camp. Not sure how active a part he’s playing, but he’s there.
