Where's that come from Sniff? I've not looked deep but I could only see that decisions on other games during the mourning period were subject to review. From a football point of view, an extended period without a game will benefit us immensely in the short term so I'm all for that game too being postponed. It might mean there are more midweek fixtures to fit in later on, possibly after the world cup but imo in the short term Cooper needs an extended period on the training ground with this group of players now.

The State Funeral is likely to be the Monday after (September 19th) so I think people are presuming the matches the weekend before will be postponed too.

Yes, of course. Makes sense.

Would also mean the first big game on the football calendar after the funeral would be an England game, which might be a way to bring the country out of the mourning period and back together again.

Wonder when well get to hear about the Fulham game (being postponed or not)?

I'm sure the club wont want to waste precious time prepping and analysing for a game that doesn't go ahead when the time could be used more productively.

EFL have just announced that matches will resume from tomorrow, so the Fulham game could still go ahead.

Everything I've read suggests the games outside London will be on. Sounds like the plan is to just get ad many games in as possible.

Arsenal PSV on Thursday is postponed due to lack police resources.

Chelsea v Liverpool and Brentford v Arsenal scheduled for London this weekend. Spurs have Leicester too. Are the police going to be able to resource those games?

Why's the premier league not announced what's happening? I wonder if they're considering a blanket postponement of the entire weekend's games?

I read the opposite, they're hoping to get as many games on as possible. Probably just be the London games off. Another option that they must be considering is closed doors for those games.

The Athletic saying Villa game on Friday night has been confirmed as on. Our game still waiting for police confirmation.
