I agree to a point, amidst all the clamouring for MGW you have been one of the few saying Yes but where does he actually fit in our system. I suppose you go back to the old adage of put your best players on the pitch and the rest sorts itself out.
As to going 4231 again, I get it but our entire success last season was built around 352, dont think we should abandon that.

I agree I loved our tactics last year, I'm not advocating a change. I'm just wondering why we're pushing so hard for MGW when there doesn't seem to be an obvious spot for him in the starting 11?

Unless we're thinking Lingard, Brennan and MGW could be a front 3?

I think Williams and Mbe Soh qualify for that too, at least I think I read that somewhere.

We appear to be getting closer to the final squad.
I've got Aouar in behind Lingard but in reality I think we'll see a midfield trio of Freuler, Aouar and Lingard... that seems pretty elite to me.
Tx to the 9 subs and no doubt injuries plus Kouyate as a CB, I see no issue with Garner coming to join the party.
Mbe Soh might even go out on loan, which would be good for him to get a full season under his belt.
That'll get the squad down to 25.

Think Colback ,Taylor , Cafu all leave on perms and mighten and Soh on loans .
Think Garner ends up at Everton. Might see another LWB come in too possible loan with option to buy to cover Richards Injury and push Toff .

I think and hope that Colback and Cafu are kept for continuity. Colback can also cover LWB. Cafu is a unit, who also is very good technically on the ball. His first touch is good, and his vision and passing is top notch.

No Colback or Taylor in any of the photos ??
You would expect Niakhate to come in for Mighten with cook going to White bibs Biancone playing against Neco . Richards when fit or Another LWB for Donnelley and Aouar for Cafu and we have a very good 11 v 11 there . Get the extra FWD in Maupay as expect Mighten to go on loan Get our LB/LWB to cover Richards injury and we have our squad . Would we get the extra CDM Like Sow if both Cafu and Colback leave .
