NFFC Squad 2022/23

We currently only have Mighten as backup for Brennan and no-one to backup Lingard (apart from Lolley who was already deemed surplus). Only Biancone to backup Williams who's primarily a CB and with Richards injured no-one to backup Toffolo aside from Colback.

Surely Laryea is the back option for both wing backs?

At the moment he has to be, but I think he'd probably rather be somewhere he's starting regularly ahead of the World Cup.

Yeah I was working on the assumption his loan was a sure thing, I guess if we didn't sign anyone else we'd keep him though

Unfortunately for him, we can’t afford to let him go until Richards is fit. Don’t see why we should buy another backup option when we have one already.

It probably would have been if Richards wasn’t injured tbf

Not much has changed, Ramsay has signed for Nice and I'm thinking Colback will be going nowhere for now.

Some new names appearing, nothing in the Garner position though so maybe Forest are done there.
A couple more out the exit door.
Only Arter left of the deadwood, everyone else has played their part and contributed to the clubs success.
I do feel as though I'm being a little unfair on Cafu, he has served the club well. If Jimmy Garner and MGW do come in though he will be gone.
Same might be true for Colback if Carvalho or Fueller or similar arrives.

I can't bring myself to shuffle Jizz onto the team sheet.

Scratch Cornet from that - he's off to West Ham.
