English Premier League club Nottingham Forest is holding out for a front-of-shirt sponsorship deal in the region of £10m (£12.1m/€11.8m) after rebuffing at least two multi-million-pound offers, SportBusiness understands.
Yesterday (Monday), boiler manufacturer BOXT announced it will not renew its front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with the club. The manufacturer became the East Midlands club’s principal sponsor following the collapse of virtual stock market platform Football Index and parent company BetIndex during the 2020-21 season.

Very little I'd say, it's not like your average football fan uses such a company. And it's not as if we need an 'in house' company to sponsor us to artificially raise the income. We're a million miles away from hitting any ceiling with regard to ffp.
I just hope it's not a betting company.
Oh yeah, no advantage to the company at all. Just pondering on whether EM would see it as a way of injecting more cash to circumvent FFP. No idea if it's possible or even worthwhile, just pondering.
I'd rather it be an external company and - as you said - not a gambling one. Hopefully we should find out soon. I know in the grand scheme of things it's not important but to me it looks a little unprofessional that we've not got on emblazoned on our shirts yet.
Presumably we'll get a sleeve sponsor too.
With just 2 weeks to go to the season's start, I'm amazed the club haven't yet sorted out the sponsor, especially considering the opportunity that's just been lost to companies re the Lingard signing.

See my last post. Looks like we've a figure in mind and are determined not to budge from it.

Ahh that other forum the only forum in the world that bans ITK's.
What a 'click' they have over there led by that dour Strummer.
They still drag up my name for something that happened 4 years ago! They still use the same 15 year old stale jokes on a daily basis. Total bore fest.

Couldnt agree more Sniffer,
Not from a usual source, so taking it with a huge pinch of salt, but if it is right Paplane then may come on and highlight it. Would be great if true they offered all forest fans discounted rates for BT products and BT Sports, or even us season ticket holders free BT Sports
As sure we will be less on Sky if it did happen.
BT have Champions league, so FOrest will be in that next season, so all good.
