How can they prove funds for the season if they can't provide funds for June. At least July's wages will be pretty low

BBC Radio Derby:
At least two of Derby's seven senior contracted players are taking legal advice over an employment law that could allow them to rip up their contracts when the club is sold.

Derby have been drawn away to Mansfield in the 1st round of the Carabao Cup. Nice local derby for them.
I went on to the BBC Championship page earlier to look at the fixtures. It suddenly dawned on me that that league is of absolutely no consequence at all now. No Forest, no sheep. No interest at all. Except maybe just hoping that Sheffield c**k up their season again.

Sheep's opening game of the season is against Oxford at home. Then Charlton A, Barnsley H. Looks like a tough-ish start for their 5 players.
Other notable dates - boxing day away to Bolton, new years day home to Acrington Stanley (who), and final day of the season away at Sheffield Wed.

I always keep an eye on the lower leagues, especially for Mansfield, Lincoln, Chesterfield and Notts County.

Still feels weird to be going onto premier league pages and having so many mainstream news outlets talking about us. Still click on Championship out of habit only to remember that we don't live there anymore.

The experience these last few weeks does make you realise how irrelevent the championship really is in this country.

Another life-long Derby fan, local businessman David Clowes, expected to be given preferred bidder status.
