They have Sibley, Knight, Bielik, Bird, Stretton and possibly Buchanan as assets. Sell the lot in a firesale situation and you're looking at maybe £6m. Would that amount fund a side of a academy kids till to play to the end of the new season? Probably not.

At this point in time if the efl need them to prove they can finish the season, like they did with Bury, they're gone. Unless Mad Mel chucks them a few mill.

As long as his bid is higher than the approx liquidation amount they have to legally accept it. So not a lot the admin can do. Could probably take him to court separately for the fees I suppose

I read in the Athletic because it is a voluntary administration the bid need to be acceptable to 75% of unsecured creditors which seeing as vast majority is to Mel Morris its his call. And he doesnt want to do business with Ashley.

probably because he knows he wont be able to pull the wool over his eyes, which I am sure is what his intentions were to Kirchener and the other bidders.
