EXCL: been told Andy Appleby and Steve Morgan bids for #dcfc are “not easily resurrectable”, and real danger of liquidation if Kirchner deal falls through. Both Morgan and Appleby consortiums have lost investors since not getting preferred bidder status. Dialogue still open tho.

EXCL: Slync,io, the company for which Chris Kirchner is CEO, is behind on payroll payments to at least several of its employees.
The company also owes NHL franchise Dallas Stars around $800k in sponsorship money That and much more in the piece ⬇️ #DCFC

I imagine this isn't the majority view but I don't want to see them get liquidated.
Happened to my local team York City, Scarborough their main rivals were liquidated and they still sing about them but obviously don't get those matches anymore. Also, in general it's sad to see a football club go bankrupt. Hopefully they get painfully saved and take years to rebuild.

Liam Rosenior possibly going to Blackpool as their new manager. Be interesting to see how he does. I was disappointed he went to the sheep as he's always seemed a smart guy whenever I've heard him talk about football.

I agree but the interest from Ashley appears genuine so I suspect they will survive regardless Anyway just going to get a large bag of and read the Athletic article whilst the clock ticks down. |
