Keinan Davis
Is Davis worth a punt at 15M?
That is the fee we have seen floating around although I am not convinced it's true.
Seems too much to me.

Too much imo.

Good player, and really want him here, but I think that is too much really. Maybe around the 10 million mark would be more acceptable.

Sign him up even for that fee.
There is a huge benefit from signing good characters who fit with the team. He is very low risk.
After 1 season he'll be worth a lot more.

We wont sign him for £15m and nor will anyone else. £8-10m about right, trust Dane to do the business and the lad obviously wants to come here.
Good character and judging by his celebrations a bit of insanity thrown in!

I really like Davis and his signing on loan was great for all concerned.

I am also not against him coming back on a perm.

However my question is who is going to score the goals that we will need to score to win games and pick up points?

As good as Davis is at certain things his record of putting the ball in the onion bag is not the greatest.

That is not a criticism it's up for debate.

Which is why we need another wide forward to complement Brennan on the left hand side to put the goals away. We will probably need a 4th forward too.

If Keinan had scored 20 goals last season we would be talking £30m plus and out our price range anyway.  He can finish, we have seen it, get Coops to work his magic and you never know what we may have on our hands.

I would expect the amount to be lower but with significant add ons such as staying in the league, goals scored and % of next sale. Perhaps true cost will be an initial £7-8 million spread over 3-4 years.

Yes that is a good point and it makes sense.

Far too much, about 5,6m is what I would be happy to pay.

10+ is too much.
COYR!

I also think 15M is too much and unrealistic.

Many Strikers been mentioned last couple of days but Davis not been one of them.
That could be a good sign though.
