That's the issue, Brice being no2.

I don't like to see that. Not a good look for Brice.

So Brice's brother is trying to tell the club what they can and cannot do?
Oh dear.

Could it be we are wanting to upgrade on Brice and make him fight for his spot? Maybe Pope rumour is actually true?

I trust Coops regardless. If EM and Coops want better to stay in the Prem then ruthless decisions need to be made

Pat Samba is not Brices brother or agent. He is an ex Dutch born player who is chipping in. Think he is a fitness coach now and has been described as "a professional hanger on".

What will he will be.

The club are clearly mid-negotiation with Samba and yet this story finds its way into the press. My worry is these storys will harm the club until they develop the nounce to deal with this new world.

I think the club leaked it.

Yeah, that was my first thought.
He's not being guaranteed the jersey.
This is why I think the club leaked it, they know the fans would not accept anyone being guaranteed their place in the matchday squad.

Some fans will love this I’m sure, they can get the knives back out and the narrative is already that Brice is the bad man.

He does deserve more respect IMO.

I am sure nobody loves it, what is there about it to love?

I find it all very sad if true. I would hate anyone to leave with bad feeling, especially with the feel good factor at the club atm. I love having Brice in the team, the game needs characters like him, but if he wants to go I’m sure we can replace him. (Not at 40m though)

Im with you on how much I rate Samba honestly I am but headlines like the above are a load of crap to be honest.
For a start off the top of my head there was Blackpool at home where Samba and Spence combined to allow a free header.Im sure there were others Then there was the obvious sending off although he got away with it. Should have seen red vs Derby too.
Is he better than Horvarth? Yes in my opinion.
Can we do better still if he were to leave? Also yes although it will cost us.

If Brice isn't happy with the current situation, then sell him on and make a few quid in the process. Yes we possibly wouldn't be in the Premier League if it wasn't for his penalty saves that he made, and I for one will always be grateful for that.

But no player is bigger than any club and all players have to realise they are employed by their clubs, not the other way around.

If I approached my boss and demanded a list of things to make me feel better, including respect, he would show me the door and tell me to f**k off (quite literally too!).

I can't help thinking though, that somebody has had a word in his ear about something, like the Pope rumour for instance, and he has taken this the wrong way. Would he sooner throw up the chance to pit himself against some of the greatest players in the world by staying at Forest, in front of arguably some of the most vociferous and passionate supporters in the country, or would he sooner be in a ligue 1 relegation battle with some French outfit? It just doesn't make any sense?
