Ran and ran yesterday for us but nothing came off for the guy.
Withe those 2 crucial chances missed he'll be disappointed. When he was through on goal one on one I was convinced he'd score.
When was the last time we had a striker who gave that much confidence?

He's a great player, works his socks off. Shame it didn't happen for him yesterday he will be looking to make up for it against Hull I would imagine.
I was over the moon when he signed, it's years since we had a striker of his class.

He was only denied yesterday by a great piece of goalkeeping.
He was in the right place again but Butland was out in a flash.
Shows the imporatance of having a top class goalkeeper...

Butland made some class saves. Where as pant made one decent save from distance. We certainly had the better chances to score. A poor keeper and we could have won that 2 Or 3 nill

It was the fact he gambled on a mistake going to be made when not many others won't it looked for sure it was the defenders all day long and he would easily clear it but he ran into the area anyway and got his reward for thinking like no-one else

His goal against Middlesbrough really showed his striking instincts for me. He was the only Forest player in the box, but still got to the ball ahead of four defenders to tuck it in.

Carv does have a quality pass on, just needs to strengthen up a little for.me, seems to lose the ball a lot very easily.
