We haven't had that many either have we?

I can't remember the last time we went down to 10 men, excluding through injury, which doesnt count

Quick edit:- Samba got sent off didn't he!

And Colback

Jordan Gabriel was sent off for 2 yellows in the home defeat to Blackburn. That seems a very long time ago.

Had to look it up, surprisingly our disciplinary record is worse this season than either of the last 2 with 88 yellows and 3 reds. Thought it would be better as we are playing on the front foot. Then again the amount of fighting spirit is way greater this year which would account for some of it.

People Are mixing up measurements in yards and metres.

According to which source you look at
The CG is 105x 71 metres
Wembley 105 x 68 metres
Therefore actually smaller

Huddersfield Fans Pre Match Comments......

The idea that NFFC are favourites to win on Sunday needs addressing. Since Christmas Day htafc have collected 53 points from 25 games, only losing 2. In the same period Nffc have 49 points from 25 with 6 detests. Sunday will be difficult and we need to be at our best to have win

Sheff utd went at them in second leg they looked Shakey at back and with sorbas delivery early goal could just set us up just don't give them room behind. Also I'd like us to have 3 in midfield and take control

We also played that way at Forest in the cup and it could've been 4 or 5.

I'm not trying to knock Carlos as he's done absolute miracles this year. Just think if we set up like we did in our last match against Luton then it could be a long day.

We also looked like a different team when Sorba came on so f**k knows

Are there any celebrity pundits who actually think Town will win on Sunday?

Fooook em..

Noooan bothered wot them southern shandy suppers think anyroad..

God some panickers on here. We’ll tank these lot by a couple all the pressure on them and they’ll bottle it as they did at Bournemouth and nearly did at home to SU

Worrying about our cup game with half a side out and someone earlier taking Worrall up like he’s the championship Van Dijk - he couldn’t lace Colwill’s boots

Forest are much better down their right than their left going forward. I’d also say that is our strongest side with Colwill, Toffolo and probably LOB given a job that side as well. None of who played in the cup if i remember rightly.

Can see a lot of the game played on that side just hoping Sorba is 100 per cent for us to keep hitting him on the break on the other side. That’s also the reason i think Ward will start over Rhodes again if fit.

Forest success comes from catching teams on the break, so don't expect Town to start the game pushing men upfield.

Yes we'll look for the out ball and hopefully Ward or Sinani can get on the end of some Sorba balls, but half the team will stay back, hopefully.

2nd half could be different, depending on the score and how knackered Forest get.

Whatever we do we can't leave gaps down either wing for their long ball game.

I wouldn't be against Sarr being in the 11, Davis is a big old lump and Sarr matches him up physically better than any other centre half we have. Only problem is him doing something daft, but touch wood that has gone out of his game a little.

Dominate the midfield against Forest and you win the game, Sheff Utd played 3 in there and Norwood was allowed to dictate from deeper in the second leg, it left Garner and Yates frusatrated and often moving into wider channels for the ball, allowing more room for Fleck and Berge to press on and cause trouble. Hoping Town follow a similar path with JR and JH allowing LOB a free role to roam between the lines and link with Ward and Sinani.

2:1 Town
Thomas
& Lees to score

Just been on their board. They're very confident. One poster put 'all we have to do is beat Huddersfield f*****g Town".

I wish I had their confidence. Where do they get it from?

Mark my words, Forest supporters are well aware how good a team we are, they should prepare for being defeated, by in my opinion the better manager, and the players that are driven to win.

They are a bunch of arrogant knobs another lot who think their a big club, FFS they couldn't even fill their ground during the big European games and a worst final you will never see when they played Malmo.

Years of frustration, listening to stories of the old days..
Now listening to experts who are telling them that Forest are huge favourites.
Its a small matter.

Wouldn’t it be funny if Anjorin started ?

Cooper “what the f**k ! Does anyone have a plan ?”

“No boss”

Cooper “ f*****g Corboran “

What strangely makes me think we’ll have a decent chance is Chris Wilder (when we played Middlesbrough)
said that he couldn’t plan how to play us because he had no idea how we’d set up. That we always set up differently.

CC with his uniqueness might upset the apple cart

No way in a million years is this game going to finish 0-0 with Town winning on pens.....Well maybe?

Bottom line - there is no pressure on Town whatsoever. 3rd place finish and the fantastic season they have had is beyond all expectations.
Super hype around Forest can play havoc with peoples minds. The pressure is all on them to perform and win now. We have all seen in the past how this can get to players in any sport.

Carlos will be cool calm and collected "Listen boys - just play to your best and see where it goes - if we win , we win but the world will still revolve tomorrow. If we lose we lose , I am here next season and we will give it another shot "
Cooper "This lot are here for the taking - the whole fotballing world is watching - dont spack this up"

50/50 when it kicks off and if Town play as well as they can and give it their best then we have a great chance of winning the game.

I love how their fans are commenting on how Sheff Utd rattled us in the 2nd leg at our place.

I don't think they realise that our players had played additional games to the rest of the top 8 (apart from Bournemouth) and were absolutely shattered by then.

We will have had a good week plus to recharge our batteries and will be fresh and fit and firing on all cylinders come Sunday. So will 'Uddersfeeuld, so there is nothing in it, in terms of who can win.

For me it boils down to who can take their chances the most, that will decide who will win the game.

Can we win it? yes we can. Can they win it? yes they can. We need to be 100% focused to ensure they don't win it!!

Cannot wait for Sunday so all the talking about tickets, who is favourite all stops and the football does the talking.

Getting a bit nervous now, butterfly feeling in my gut I really hope that our boy's go out there and do the business on Sunday, they will never get this close again and need to be 100% focused on getting the win.

I think these comments just sum up how similar the teams trajectories have been, unexpected success based on an excellent young manager. We also finished on similar points to them last year. Whilst I think most of them agree we're slight favourites it's going to be such a tight game and they are perfectly capable of winning. I need to stop reading these things, making me too nervous!
