Sheffield United Fans Match Comments Playoff 2nd leg 1st Half..........

I think those wanting us to come out of the blocks fast are going to be disappointed. I expect us to sit deep and be compact to prevent Forest getting in behind our full backs like they did numerous times on Saturday. We only need a goal to get us to extra time and I think PH will be happy if we were to get to 80mins without conceding. If it stays 0-0 I don't expect us to twist early and go all out attack until late in the game.
MGW and N'Diaye are going to be so important tonight - we can't be ponderous and pedestrian in possession again, we'll need quick transitions from defence to attack when we win the ball. The midfield will need to keep the ball moving forwards. With MGW in the team I give us a puncher's chance, but it's going to be a nervy night where we'll have to be patient in our wait for chances.
Real Madrid were completely out-played by Man City the other night and managed to nick a couple of goals from nothing, so it can happen. Buckle up and keep the faith

Good luck Blades...Give'em hell. Chop'em down. Glued to Radio Sheff from the get go.

I think we will need to score a minimum of three goals just to take the tie to extra time, as I don’t see how Forest don’t at least score twice.

Off we go
Good start

This team are easy capable of trumping Forest. Believe. All these negative vibes are bonkers. MGW will get one then Forest panic. Main thing is to hold tight til 60.

Bugger
Got to score that

Same move, different outcome

CUNTTSSSSS 1-0
Good start with two good chances, one from Egan and the Ndiaye.

And then give up a terrible goal.

Did Basham watch the video fron Saturday?

Absolutely f*****g toothless up front again. Same owd same owd

Robbo lost big teeth's run

Exact same move as at the weekend

How many f*****g times do we leave a man spare at the back post? f*****g embarrassing defending.

That's that.....cunts

Basham caught out again. Seems to happen every other week

Another hecky masterclass

Lots of possession but no actual continuity to our game.

Can't miss great chances in games like this

Now Hecky. Don't leave it 60 minutes before changing things. We have reverted back to first game!

It isnt tactics thats the issue, its the players, bash let his man get the channel ball then robbo let big teeth run past him. No amount of tactics can make up for individual errors ffs!

Same old defence…. Again Forest show us how to play the ball in opposition box, just pass it instead of crossing to no one, something we cannot seem to do.

Need a goal back ASAP forest were very nervy before that goal... if they get the next they will get 4 or 5 here

Miss a golden opportunity to turn the game on its head then our sunday league defence offer them the victory on a plate.

So f*****g predictable

Mmm. Pray for a downpour and abandonment?

Absolutely no chance we can score two and not concede again

NEXT GOAL WINS!!!!!!!!!

Big teeth diving around like he's auditioning for a porno

Think I’ve seen that one already

Just hope Huddersfield beat these cunts now.

Same here fella

can’t deal with another Leeds style media love in if Forest go up.

Forest have better players than we do across the board. That’s why they’ll comfortably get through to the final.

They have younger and quicker players which is key!

Sean Dyche in the crowd. Any chance of him replacing Hecky at half time?

Too easy for them, but if we have no strikers in the pitch what do we expect….get Jebbo on for Ndiye

Ref giving us nowt

Hecky's lost it?

Hecky's taking few prisoners.

I can't watch the big games makes me feel poorly what's he done

Well done hecky get some f*****g fire in the game

If Forest don't go up through playoffs they won't be as good next season with number of players leaving in summer. PL clubs will be coming in with offer for a few (Johnson, Sturridge and a few others). Difficult to replace to players who could be leaving

I just think they have a very good manager

Basham off > Osula on..

Has to be the half time change right?

Someone needs to stamp on big teeth, give him somethng to roll around for

We are going to get a red card tonight, can see it coming.

Robinson nailed on late in the game

Why the f**k can we not find each other in their box, just pass the f*****g ball instead of daft flicks!!

This simple isn’t working for a playoff game …

They’re fast on the break so don’t play a high line & if you do then win the first ball. That’s the issue & it’s been punished by these so much. They’re a counter attacking team

Should be three minutes added on for Johnson alone.

Sadly they are a far better team than us. Fairvenough but their scum element really f*****g wind me up.

f**k me. Man at the far post with the penalty area to himself again. Are we f*****g stupid or what.

Dreadful performance so far, deservedly 1 down.

people have been quoting the QPR second half, we are going to need that x20 to even get a draw out of this

Look at their players waiting for us to go down the tunnel. What a bunch of fannies, like their fans.

"Robinson nailed on late in the game"

If the game is up and he kicks Spence 6 feet in the air, I’ll consider it an excellent and worthwhile one.

Apart from Wes I wouldn't be to bothered to see any of that lot fuvk off next season

Better performance from us tonight.
So frustrating though, forest looked rattled, we miss two glorious chances (N'diaye especially) and then gift them a goal with a repeat of Friday's defending.
Early 2nd half goal and it's back on though

Well that’s three halves of absolute shite. Everything that’s let us down this season plane for all to see. Can’t finish chances and giving away stupid and avoidable goals through individual errors.

Need one amazing half of football now but the omens don’t look good.

"We are going to get a red card tonight, can see it coming"

If we do I hope its for someone putting that little c**t Johnson out of final.

It’s not dreadful. We need to keep it ugly and nasty. Break their rhythm and show some composure on the ball.
Oh - and take fleck off for f***s sake.

Is Hinchliffe the commentator? I genuinely hope he falls down the stairs at half time and never commentates again

Lino is a scabby fan

Dreadful performance ?

Really ? We have been the better side for the majority of that half

Love bash but Surrige walked past him just like the Colbert cross he failed to cut out for their first on satdi

We looked better before we made it turn ugly. This suits Forest, can wind the clock down and hit us on the break as we get desperate. Need more control, but we’ve lost it and Hecky losing his head doesn’t help.

hecky has done miracles without a forward. but fact is there GK has made 1 testing save in 3 halves

Loss of composure on the sideline and on the field. In spite of spence being a dick. Hecky should not have done what he did. Its unsporting behaviour and we need the players to get back to playing like the did in the first 20 min. Since they scored its like watching a fight between a lad with a blunt fencing sword against a lad with a cutlass. We are throwing lots of shapes but getting cut open every now and then.

Love that from Hecky, rather it be a game like that at the minute. Too soft on that c**t Johnson.

They are young, quick and have decent quality on the ball. We aren't really any of those things, particularly midfield. I'm not sure how Fleck keeps getting picked, particularly when we have a left footed midfielder on the bench. Not sure he's offered anything all season, bar perhaps one decent performance.

What's Brennan Johnson doing shushing our fans? Talented player but plays with no class I'm afraid. The diving, the throwing himself around, goading Heckingbottom when the situation was between him and Spence.

Has his dad revved him up or somthing, because he was in tears coming off the pitch 19 years ago in the famous 4-3!?

we aren't getting torn apart but their style of play is ultimately the perfect counter to our style and we don't have the pace in defence to keep up when they do turn us

Sheffield United Fans Match Comments 2nd Half.....

A shit Neil Warnock they sing. They are sad little cunts, no f*****g idea who else has managed us like for example the son of that old c**t who once managed them.

No need to disrespect Brian clough one of the greatest managers of all time

Disrespect Clough?

I was there for his last home game when they were booing him

We broke out into a One Brian Clough rendition and he applauded us

Form for been cunts these lot

They have had 3 attacks !
We are going to get caught short at the back , we need to score 2/3 goals and have to commit men forward!

Fooking hell, what a start 1-1

MGW SCORES. COME ON YOU BLADES

Come on Blades … another one to shut these whinging twats up!

Oh, oh. Long night ahead?

Any penalty takers on the bench?!?

This ref is blind or useless

Anybody fancy us getting another, then conceding in the last 10??!!

Ref and linos have given us nothing for the pushing and shoving on Berge, watch them give a penalty to them cunts at the slightest of touches in our box.

Cook goes down by running into a player and ref blows, useless

The hope that kills you. Starting to look tired

The big difference between the sides is that Forest break out through midfield a lot quicker than we do.

f*****g squishy face Joe Lolley’s coming on. A face only a Mother could love.

Hecky needs to headbut the ref or something get the passion up again for the final push

Berge last minute diving-headed equaliser coming up... again

Faaaaaklllllllllllllll get iinmeeeeer there you bladesmennnmmmnnnmmmm

Well DONE Fleck 1-2 its on!

That shut the scabby bastards up

Momentum....its ours.

That early 2nd half goal has really lift the BLADES. Much better so far in 2nd half. COME ON BLADES

Is this match now going all the way and going to be decided by spot kicks

Looks like everyone's 2 bob barca are shitting it

Samba and the other Forest player r not time wasting now like they were in 1st leg @ BDTBL on Saturday

2 minutes up and still a corner ?

ET Here we go. Come on UTD

Monumental fight back by the Blades to get it to extra time. All we need is a moment of magic!

Or a Forest own goal or Forest to miss buckets of penalties!

Whatever happens now, brilliant comeback. Worry is that Davis is like a tank!

Whatever happens from now I’m proud of that second half comeback.

They have finished stronger, They can bring their star striker on we have a couple of kids on our bench.

Robinson playing a blinder

Both teams are spent.

Whoops forest lost at home again

Penalties!

Regardless of what happens now the lads have been exceptional, just one more bit of luck/great play and we're in, penalties are going to be more pressure on them

Wish the crétins on sky would actually credit some of our play. Ndiaye's back tracking and winning the ball back has been incredible.

Come out Anston....come out Anston where ever you are.

You're always disappear when we win or play well.
Then appear when we lose slagging off the club and the players.....wonder why?

United have a history of playing well when they are underdogs
We also have a history of glorious defeat.....can see us losing 5-4 on penalties. It would be sooooooo United.

Here we go PENALTY SHOOT OUT to decide but what a 2nd half performance by the BLADES

Wes saved a penalty when BLADES played Forest @ Lane in league game. COME ON WES

Poo

Well done Berge Kept Utd in Shout Out after missing first 2 spot kicks

Samba is a cheating twat

Forest miss penalty over bar. COME ON BLADES

I’ve hated the scabs for decades and that ain’t changed

Their goalie won the match, saving two clear cut chances and later three penalties.

What the f**k were those pens. f*****g shit. f**k off Norwood Hourihane. Gibbs White gets a pass.

Better team by miles we were

3 of the worst pens I've ever seen

you cant fault the effort, passion & they gave everything. thats all you want. it was an incredible effort to get to penaltiess which are a lottery & samba pulled off some great saves in 2nd half of ET & 3 in penalties

They should have been out of sight first leg. We could have been out of sight second. Fine margins and f*****g wank penalties have settled it.

disappointed with the result but can't be upset with the effort/heart. Next year here we come.

Well that was a bloody great game. Penalty tradition lives on. UTB

I just can't fault them, don't anyone ever say the players don't care, they were magnificent.

Awesome season this. Carried the losing mentality from last season. Hecky came in and turned things around. Quite an effort to make it this far in spite of all these injuries. The players gave their all and were quality throughout the season, despite half the team "being done" in many eyes.

Not sure but I’d like someone to re run that first penalty save by Samba, looked well off his line when the ball was struck.

Ref let him get away with murder in the pen shootout, disgraceful

Went as expected, another playoff failure. Our penalty record is embarrassing now 6 lost in a row, Forest now won 9 out of last 10.

We’ll never win in the playoffs, autos or nothing.

Their keeper, despite being a dirty little cheat across both legs, has made three "saves" tonight that he will get plaudits for but let's be honest, he got lucky putting his arm/leg in the right spot.

Got to say fair play to both keepers, could’ve been a cricket score in each leg if it wasn’t for the keepers.

But please please please Huddersfield, beat these cunts I can’t stand them. Up there with Wednesday.

f**k!!! Not bitter but hope udders fu king stuff them. If only just to wipe the smug f*****g grin off pruttons face

This club is cursed in the play-offs. Trust us to batter a team and still be denied by a keeper having the game of his life.

Still proud of the boys tonight, couldn't have given any more. But a bit of penalty practise wouldn't hurt

And another thing. What wretched specimen at SUFC gave these wankers the entire top tier,, with us on lower tier? f*****g c**k.
2k f*****g tickets at their shithole.
Absolutely f*****g disgraceful.

Hopefully Huddersfield will realise they aren't playing the f*****g Barcelona of the Midlands!!

Samba was off his line with both feet when Norwood struck his penalty.

The fat lady has sung.

A rather scrappy game overall with only flashes of skill.

First half, we started ok but the defence was pulled this ways and that as they broke. Little upfront and we lost most battles. Much better second half. We pushed further up and pressed them and they produced next to nothing. We cut off the problem at source and were much better. Won battles and made them panic. They were on the ropes at one stage but we just didn't have enough to get that 3rd goal.

Foderingham - 6 - Didn't really have much to do. I'm not convinced by his penalty saving skills but they were good pens in fairness. Had a great season considering and proved most of us, especially me, wrong.
RND - 7 -He's been mixed this season but put in a really good performance against Spence. Hardly hardly gave him an inch. Didn't get forward much himself but not surprising.
Robinson - 6 - At fault for the first goal as asleep and let his man just run through. Daft booking again and lucky not to see red for the dive but I thought he settled down second half and was much better. Really determined to get to the ball at corners. Surprised many this season and earned the new deal.
Egan - 6 - Not sure what he was doing for their first but generally more solid.
Basham - 6 - Again, slightly iffy first half and should have done better on the goal. Grew into the game as it went on and better second half.
Baldock - 7 - He's not a world beater but he offers so much on the pitch when he's pushed higher up. Did brilliantly for the second goal.
Fleck - 6 - Did ok and kept going. Good run for the goal and kept at it.
Norwood - 8 - His distribution was hit and miss but really got stuck in the cut and thrust. Put several strong challenges in and bossed the midfield.
Berge - 6 - Odd one. I thought he was largely absent first half but then set up the goal and has a strange ability to not be particularly quick but always seems to get round his man at the byline. Impressive penalty in the circumstances as well.
MGW - 7 - Player of the season by a long country mile and while he didn't have his best day a constant menace. Got another goal and will be sorely missed. He's incredibly good at finding space Never seen anything like it.
Nidaye - 7 - I don't think he did anything wrong on the saves. Got to credit the keeper there. His workrate was great and he made some brilliant runs off the defenders.

Subs

Osborn - 5 - Didn't really see much from him. It's make do and mend at right back but his first touch is inside, which is understandable I guess. Earned the new contract with his sheer workrate and energy. Good player to have in the squad.
Hourihane - 5 - Mixed since he joined us. He's clearly got a lot of attributes but also past his peak. Too slow really but we've benefited greatly from his set-pieces this season

Hecky - 8 - I don't think he could have asked for anything more. We started ok but never really dominated in an equal first half. We came out second half and pushed up the pitch and competed much better. While much of it was scrappy we were unlucky not to get a third. He's impressed in his first season. Will be interesting to see how summer/pre-season goes in terms of signings.

Forest - Thought we were the better side overall and they were hanging on at times. They have some really useful players and are probably the team who most deserve to go up. Cooper's done a great job there and their style is really suited to the EPL. They'll struggle against Huddersfield though. Not a foregone conclusion. Johnson will be some player. Seems to have so much time on the ball. Davis always impresses when I see him. So much strength but also really quick feet. Interesting to see if he gets a look-in at Villa next season.8

The really interesting thing about Nottingham Forest is that they have won 2 European Cups, which is what you and I might now call the 'Champions League", but it's never mentioned

Trying to be level-headed here...what a f*****g advert for the Championship that was over 2 legs. They were far better than us at the lane, we were far better than them tonight. Tale of 2 keepers...Wes kept us in it on saturday, Samba did the same for them tonight. Once it goes to pens it's a lottery either way...Norwood's pen was decent, but outstanding save. Hourihane's was shit but they still got a bit lucky...MGW's was just wank, sadly.

The unnecessary attack on Billy aside, I find it hard to bear them any ill-feeling. 2 very similar clubs played 210 minutes of great football (in patches either way) and someone had to lose. I'm sad, but it happens.

What at strange bunch, the like the c word dont they.
They were pulling their side apart in the first half when even then i thought they were on top, found the comments about us being so much better odd.

Then whet it turned came the outrage. None of them, even their manager seems to have grasped that the tie is over 2 legs, all seem to think because they were the better team last night that they deserved to win.

I just hate the lot of them. They're completely opposite to Wednesday fans even though they're from the same city. Its like the thinking man in Sheffield supports Wednesday and the rest go to United. Fans, players, managers always full of agression. There's always trouble with fans after games. Horrible club.

I'll second Optimistic's comments Joe. I too love reading these and I know what a ball ache it is to cut and paste from one website to another. Unless you seriously sit and type them all up, which is another level completely.

Thank you Joe for keeping us entertained with these threads.

The Countdown..........
Huddersfield Fans Pre Match Comments.........

Bring on the Forest !

Nothing to fear after last nights showing but we equally need to be better than the performance we put on, backing Jordan to steer his home again, UTT

Just enjoy it. Another day at Wembley. We are lucky. Some clubs will go their entire history never competing in a play off final.
If we win, great, if we don’t, let’s build and go again next season.
Will be a great day. Great for the club to be at Wembley again. Great for the young kids too, great memories.

Absolutely. Expected a relegation struggle this year. Still smiling that we’ve reached Wembley. Just going to enjoy the day out and applaud the team at the end, whatever the result.

Never, ever, want to see Town lose, but Trees will be firm favourites and are arguably the better side. On the basis that I never want to see Town lose, it would not be the worst thing ever to avoid weekly beatings in Prem.

I don't expect victory, but will be cheering the boys On nevertheless.

On the other hand, we can dream.....

Bring em on, they're not unbeatable

I can’t say Id still be happy if we lose. Nothing beats that elation of a playoff win after such a long season of battling against everything, budget constraints, media dissing us at every available opportunity shite bias refs we deserve this and I along with thousands of others connected to this beautiful club do too.

saying that I will be cacking myself all game and be a complete mess at the end again! UTT 4-0

I'm not buying into the whole v Forest narrative...however the odds at the bookies are just baffling at the moment. Completely ignoring the fact that Forest actually lost last night and we placed above them through the season.

(From Examiner)

Sky Bet have Huddersfield Town priced at 11/4 (3.75) to win the game in 90 minutes while Forest are at evens (2.00). The odds of the game going to extra time are 12/5 (3.40). Town are 6/4 (2.50) to be promoted by any means, while Forest are 1/2 (1.50).

Same message as before the Luton games; trust Carlos and the team. All the words, rhetoric, hype and media focus (largely on how great it would be for Forest to be back in the Premier League) this comes down to those players, our coach and the belief they have. I have often rattled on about how important belief is, well these lads have it in spades.

My message to them is; keep doing what you have done, and got better at each week of the season, play for each other and trust Carlos. You will have all the support from the stands you need. Do it for yourselves, you deserve it and it will make thousands of people very happy.

For me it is as simple as that, for all the hot air that will be generated it comes down to heart, determination and, that word belief. It doesn't really matter what we think because these lads believe they can do it, the fact that 30,000+ of their best friends also do is a added bonus.

I thought 2017 was a once in a lifetime, that dreaded "moment in time". This season has proved this club can create many moments in time. Whatever happens on 29th May mustn't define our long term future. We aren't entitled, but we are capable of more than we allow ourselves to believe. May 2022 is confirmation that this club is capable of continuing to improve.

May 29th is about those players and Carlos achieving their own personal destiny. I wish them all the luck in the world and thank them for the most unexpected, but fantastic, season. I'll be proud to support you on Sunday week.

The best thing about this season for me is it has put to bed the myth that we cant compete and that 2017 was some kind of freak.

sadly I think they might just have too much for us. Hope we can win though. One thing is for sure is we will give it a go.

Worth going for the whole experience.

Obviously the prize money for the winner is huge, but am I right that it's also a bumper pay day for the loser too?

Forest aren't Liverpool, they're just an established championship side who have had a good season, we can win but will have to up our game from monday night, we can do that!

Agree.
If we are honest, it’s been a while since we performed to the top of our abilities.

Saving one big performance for when it really matters!

The whole squad and their families are going to Portugal for the next week for a mini training camp. Did this last time we got promoted too .

Last night showed Forest are not invincible and they wobbled under the pressure of expectation.

They will have magnificent support on the day and no doubt 5k at least more than us, but that could equally go against them if we can get a foothold in the game.

Steve Cook's post match interview last night was quite revelatory !

I just hope we play on the front foot in the final. Press them high. Support the striker and get runners forwards when attacking. Don’t set up like the first half vs Luton. Too slow, everything through Hogg, not enough movement.

If we do miss out let’s go down fighting and really going for it.

I really wish Corberan would leave someone up when we defend corners too. Holmes or Sinani on the halfway to push some of their defence back and ensure any clearance we can chase and pressure rather than it just coming straight back.

Let them keep the hype and believe they only have to turn up to get promoted. It often doesn’t work out like that.

We’ve been at our best all season when we’ve soaked up the opposition attacks, worked out where the gaps are and countered at pace. We’ve also done well later in games when the opposition tires. I think these tactics are probably our best chance of a result against a very dynamic Forest attack. Happy to trust Carlos, we need to be better than we were against Luton, but we have it in us to beat Forest.

O’Brien described our tactics as like a sponge on that access all areas video. “Soak up all the pressure and then go up the other end and score”

Definitely feel like the players are learning how to read the opposition. It’s a pretty risky tactic when your ball retention and defensive discipline is as poor as it was on Monday night though. We need to be much less generous in giving them opportunities at Wembley

Serious question..

Will our players be forming a guard of honour for “the former kings of England “ before the game

Personally I think once they score their eighth goal Carlos will throw the white towel ont pitch to save us from further embarrassment..

We can only hope to bask in their glory for a short period before the inevitable happens..

Really wanted it to be Sheff U before last night but having watched it I think Forest are better for us. Sheff U's midfield was strong and took over in the second half, that might have been a problem for us.
Forest not only tired but looked as though the expectation had really got to them. The space that Berge had is where Sorba will hopefully be operating, and they will find our set pieces a real nightmare. If we are level after an hour I think we are favourites.
Think of the outrage if the mighty Forest don't take their rightful place at the top table

To beat Forest we will need to be set up like we were away to Fulham and...Forest. Defending higher up the pitch and more aggressively than against Luton, with Hogg in midfield not pissing about at the back, and more threatening attacks that begin nearer the opposition goal.

The best part of being in the final is the anticipation and excitement beforehand. Going down to London, having a few drinks with 1,000s of fellow fans, going into the stadium...players coming onto the pitch.

The next 90,120 or 150 minutes is usually hell... If you lose (a la Pbro) it's crap, but if you win ...oh my Lord.

Then you kick off in the PL and you think,,Oh, shit!

If we play 3 at the back we'll get mullered..so Turton, Lees,Colwill,Toffolo..
And Hogg deep midfield...Will he start Sorba, can he do 90/120 mins ?

Rhodes or Ward ?

I honestly have no idea how he will set up. I don't think Steve Cooper will either!

Remember all the pressure is on Forest. This is a big day out for them lot - never been to new Wembley and never in top division this millennium. They’ll be like kids at Xmas.

Let them sell out and enjoy their big day out in the big city. It’s all old hat for us.

So let us concentrate on what we we do best. Stay under the radar and win play offs.

It is, seen town there three times if you include when we played Tottenham in the prem, its a whole new world for Florist fans.

My big concern is their right hand side. We have to make sure that Toffolo isn't left to manage on his own and nor is O'Brien permanently kept there. If we do play 3 at the back, I might be tempted to get Colwill to man-mark Johnson.

So long as he's up to the pace from the start...looked a mile off against Luton

Did we sell 36000 last time?

38 or so

Point of order
The title of this thread should be
Town v Notts Forest

They love being called Notts Forest for some reason

I think the Florist autocorrect is almost as funny

As per the expert comments from last night..

Johnson clearly has an ongoing back problem, best clatter him early and take one for the team.

Goodman would probably argue that but he went with the shithousing when it was Forest doing it..

Think the first 60-70 minutes are absolutely crucial to our chances. Forest like to fly out of the traps, energetically pressing and trying to go at teams from the off, but from what I’ve seen lately look absolutely out on their feet around the hour mark. If we’re still in the game at that point I fancy us to win.

The media furore over Forest and the complete lack of expectation around us suits me right down to the ground. All the pressure is on them.

I genuinely can't think of anyone who would be calmer in that dugout than Corberan on the 29th May. Someone else put this more eloquently than I will but I know for a fact he won't let the occasion get to him - to him Wembley is just another 115 yard × 74 yard field of grass to win a football match on. One more game.

I read a lot about certain teams going into games with 'pressure', but i dont think theres much in it tbh, maybe it might affect some players but generally i dont think it has that much of an influence, hope it does on the 29th though.

No pressure on us at all. Just go out, play as well as we can, and see what happens.

There will be one key ingredient for whoever wins - luck.

Forest crap at set piece defending and we are pretty good at them

Also Samba... That boy has more than one mistake in him a game. He was outstanding last night no doubt but I have a feeling he will have a bit of a shocker against us. That back 4 in front of him are pretty average.

Forests asset is pace on the wings and the no. 9 Davis I think was excellent when he came on. A handful.

Nullify that and we win. Carlos will have a plan. He always does.

Not scared whatsoever. Bring it on

For me they have 2 good players - Spence and Johnson - the rest are no better that Town have. To counter we have Thomas and LOB is due a good game. Goalies....very good on both sides. Nicholls just pips it for me.
It will be a very tight game and if it comes to pens well who knows.

Hard to call this one for me I am afraid but maybe our "ace in the hand" will be Anjorin who will make himself a Town legend with a late winner. As always if we lose then as long as we can hold our heads up and say "we gave everything" then there is absolutely no shame in that.

Thing I'm most concerned about is will dealing with Johnson nullify Tofolo or will we trust in Sarr or Colwill to cope against him and try to put the pressure on them?

Just seen an article on the unexamined. It’s says the media bias is justified because the trees haven’t been in the top flight for 22 years? So if that’s the justification why the media bias when we got promoted to the top flight after a 46 year absence? Nottingham is a northern town Gary Neville? Where was our “media coverage?” f*****g dog shit response examiner shake yer head have a word! We are the town and we are going up
