Keinan Davis
Wouldn't surprise me to see lolley start as well. been a short turnaround time and having full tilt in that advanced midfielder is so important to the way we manage games

Zinc was critical to our play in the first half on Saturday with his movement and pressing. He has to start again for me then bring Joe on again if needed.

Made a huge difference when he came on last night. Got to be the first name on the team sheet for the final. No disrespect to Sam Surridge who has been superb also.

yeah he holds the ball up better and gets it up the pitch - different attributes then Surridge...is playing both of them an option ?

Dunno, I will let Cooper answer that one.

I imagine if both are on the pitch together, that means we're not winning...

Think Davis will start and otherwise same team

I had mention on a number of time on this forum that Davis would be the most important player against Sheff United as it stops the bullying of other players, he is so difficult to handle in full flight for most defenders. Certainly made the difference when he came on and yes I would play BOTH KD & SS along with BJ in a starting line-up at Wembley, so much space for them all to show their different attributes, SS could play the No10 role in my opinion. Also I would like to apologise for my penalty miss last night the nerves got the better of me!

You are playing well JL but that pen was bloody awful! I could see the goalkeeper had dived early the wrong way and I was half way in the air celebrating when I realised you had done a Chris Waddle special!

Why play both Davis and Surridge and ditch the entire way we've played for 6 months for the biggest game for the club in 25 odd years? No, stick to what's got us here, one striker. Davis to start, Surridge to come on on 70 minutes for me. Tried and tested formula.

I think Joe realised that a penalty shootout shouldn't be that easy and that he wanted to allow Samba to make the winning save.

Agree. Surridge has done well but has struggled against more physical defences at times (although he did score his first goal against hudders in FA cup)

But for me, don't mess with the formula. Hoping the players will be fresher with ten days to go while Davis will be a huge player against hudders. Had he not been available yesterday, I think we lose as he changed complexion of match by helping to reloeve pressure. He will give Huddersfield defenders plenty to think about and then if necessary bring surridge on against tiring legs.

Davis to start for me. No disrespect to Surridge but for the final I'd rather see Forest exerting more control over the ball and midfield v Hudders.
To do that they will need to hold the ball up top.
We can't be playing on the break from the start, gotta own it.
