Got to be said that there were some wretched performances out there tonight.

Had Figs played as bad as Worrall did we’d be hearing about it for weeks.

Nothing seemed to land for us - SU seemed more up for it but after Saturday`s performance it was always going to be hard to match that. There sole purpose was to disrupt and did a good job

Just got in and watched the incident on TV.
No different to the Leicester dickhead.

We looked tired, we looked very tired.

Second best, slow to the ball........perhaps our run in of games at the end of the season was too much and this game came too quickly after Saturday ?

It also showed that when we go up against a team who put their wing backs on our wing backs - we become blunt. its a godsend Davies is back as he offers the difference.

As much as Samba was at fault on Saturday for their goal - he was an absolute hero today with 2 crucial saves during the game and then 3 superb penalty stops.

Worrall was very sloppy, giving the ball away a lot. SU also knew that to shut him down quickly would lead to him giving the ball away. We are too reliant on this - Samba to Worrall to Spence to Johnson routine...........other teams know it now and SU shut it off and shut us off.

Davies has to start in the final - this mixes things up and allows us to use different ways of moving forward.

I was getting so annoyed at every high ball forward we lose the ball...... pretty much all game..........

When we are being closed down fast we need an alternate to just hoof it up front.............more movement, pass more........stop hoofing.

Anyway - a great win and we are through - but now the work starts - they need to analyse in depth how SU stopped us, what went wrong and make sure we have all the tools needed for the final.

Agree with all of that, 3rd game in a row (wont count Hull) we have faded badly second half too.

But who cares just for now. I have had 4 hours sleep, I have to give a work presentation at 8am, my voice is still knackered and we are going to Wembley.

This morning I woke up, went to the loo and turned on Spotify and for the first song it randomly chose Mull of Kintyre.
True story.

Plenty of other people will be feeling/doing the same Salv. You wont be on your own. The city of Nottingham's economic output is going to be lagging today. :giggle:

Just to say I thought the support was unbelievable last night from every part pf the ground, best I can ever remember. Stayed right behind the team even when we were clearly struggling, a bit nervy to say the least in extra time but I hope it gave just enough to see them through.
