If this lot think they're on for promotion next season then they want their heads looking at. No way can you be sucessful playing that shite tappy tappy knock it about at the back football.
They nead to realise their last two seasons of relative sucess was down to one man. They improved when he went there and have regressed now he's gone.

Only the 17 shots on target for Forest today lol
I'm still confident we'll get 2nd, but I'm not overly concerned about the other teams in the playoffs tbh... apart from Sheffield u maybe, as they do have some genuine quality and have charged in from lower half not too long ago.
Last seasons playoff threats stronger imo. Thinking of Brentford.
You can kiss your season goodbye on Tuesday night.
You'll crash and burn in the play offs - bottlers.
Forest won their last game 5-1 and their manager said it should have been more. I am hoping their confidence is a little too high and we can bring them back down to earth. The pressure is on them, if they lose it is all over, if they draw it is unlikely they will go up. This game IMO is bigger than the FA cup final.
They work hard, but Forest have no where near the abilities of Cherries players.
forest is a great story and if it wasn't against us I'd be wishing them well. They've certainly done their time in the doldrums, even being low enough to sink to our level a few times. They are the fairytale story this time and AFCB are the boring option in the eyes of neutrals, more money, arguably better players, certainly more expensive anyway. They have the feel good factor and we've got people booing a promotion team.
But.... We're not in it for respect or support from fans of other clubs. The fact that nobody other than our supporters (and probably Derby County supporters) wants us to do it is funny.
Good news is Keinan Davis is injured, I am more afraid of him than Grabban and Sudge. We will have to manage Spence and Johnson.
Billing (hopefully) has hit form at the perfect time, it wasn't just yesterday he was outstanding, he was also brilliant when he came on against Swansea.
The thing is we all recognise and applaud Forests incredible run, and if they do nick second many of us have acknowledged they'll deserve it.
Personally, I think we'll beat them comfortably. If we don't we don't. If we do, I won't be going on the Forest forum to antagonise and gloat though.
I think Forest players will target Lerma, the referees association would love to send him off with the whole country watching this game.
Surridge is a hot head. I remember him completely taking out Southampton player in the cup, off the ball, for no reason. Even though it was a Southampton player it was a disgusting challenge and embarrassing. With so much on this game I can see him getting involved, possibly booked or sent off, he has that nasty streak in him.
expect a dirty game, a massive atmosphere, a sh't ref and some late drama. The media will be all over Forest on this, everyone will fancy them, I don't want to listen to it. It depends on which Bournemouth turn up & with so much depending on this game i think we have to turn up.
Apart from 2 seasons, run by an alocholic, when have Forest ever done anything?

Bournemouth Fans Pre Match Continued..........
Battle Lines For Second place: The Return Of Steve Cook
After a very important win at Blackburn scoring 3 goals and keeping a clean sheet, AFCB now have two home games to finish the season. They start off with a battle for second place against Nottingham Forest, they are in third place and 3 points behind the Cherries. The game is live on Sky at an earlier time for an evening game, starting at 7 pm on Tuesday. The game was originally to be played in February but was postponed because of damage from storm Eunice.
This game will see the welcome return of our old captain Steve Cook, even if he is in an opposition shirt. He joined our club on loan in October 2011 & permanently on the 4th of January 2012. He went on that great run with our club up into the Premier League in his 10 years at our club. He left AFCB on the 4th of January 2022 to join Nottingham Forest.
After a very poor start to the season under their manager Chris Houghton, Forest lost their first four games, including our away game which was the fourth straight defeat. They then drew away at Derby, but lost their next two, the second defeat being at home against Middlesbrough. That was the end of Chris Houghton’s time at Nottingham Forest, he had been there from 6th October 2020 until 16th September 2021.
He was replaced by the former Swansea City manager Steve Cooper. Cooper after being in charge of the Swans for two seasons decided to call it a day and left at the end of last season after the Welsh club had lost out for a second season in a row to Brentford in the play-offs. The first season was the semi-final and last season was the final.
Cooper took over on the 21st September, this was after Forest won the next game after Hughton’s departure under caretaker manager Steven Reid away at Huddersfield. Steve Coopers first game was at home against Millwall, it finished in a 1-1 draw. He then saw his side win four of their next games, three away from home, he had steadied the ship and was now steering it away into calmer waters. Cooper has certainly transformed his new club.
In their away games since he took charge they have W 9, D 5, L 3. Their last away game was against already promoted Fulham at Craven Cottage, Forest won 0-1. Nottingham Forest’s most recent game was at home against Swansea City, Forest won 5-1. In their last six away matches Forest have W 3, D 2, L 1. Goals F 7, A 3.
AFCB in their last six home games have W 2, D 4. Goals F 8, A 5.
The last time AFCB met Forest at Dean Court was the November of last season, AFCB winning 2-0. The goals coming from Junior Stanislas putting away a pass from David Brooks in the 3rd minute and in the second half Stanislas scored his second from the penalty spot after Dominic Solanke was fouled.
In all our home league games against Forest, AFCB have W 5,D 1, L 2.
All league games (no cup games), AFCB have W 6, D 5, L 6.
AFCB Team News
No new news of any new injuries, Jordan Zemura was limping near to the end of the Blackburn game but finished the game, so hopefully a bit of cramp after being out injured for a while.
AFCB Player To Watch
Dominic Solanke has scored 5 goals in his last 4 games and now has scored 29 league goals and will be looking to get to 30 before the end of the season. Philip Billing was involved in all 3 goals at Blackburn, scoring 2 goals, plus an assist for Dominic Solanke and was the MOM. Kieffer Moore could be an important player for us some time on Tuesday night, just as he was in our game at Swansea. He was not needed at Blackburn, so has had a bit of a break between games.
Nottingham Forest Team News
On the injury front they are without Lewis Grabban, Loic Mbe Soh and Max Lowe.
In the January transfer window they brought in Steve Cook and Sam Surridge both ex AFCB players. Defenders Richie Laryea from Toronto FC and Jonathan Panzo from Dijon. On loan forward Keenan Davis from Aston Villa who after having 14 starts scoring 5 goals, is also out injured for the rest of the Season.
Nottingham Forest Player To Watch
Brennan Johnson, leading scorer with 15 goals this season and leads with 10 assists. James Garner has 8 assists including 4 in his last 6 games, with 2 in his last game. Also ex AFCB pair Steve Cook and Sam Surridge who scored a hat-trick against Swansea City on Saturday.
The Referee
Stuart Atwell who usually takes Premier League games is the man in charge.
We had him in our last season in the top league for four games, three against London clubs.
Home against West Ham, Arsenal and Crystal Palace. Away at Leicester
Could be 4 or 5 games to go....
Have faith.
I'm trying Billy....but the nerves are getting too me God knows what I'll be like Tuesday
Forest have to come at us. This suits our style of play.
Should be a good game, let’s hope the result is the same as it was on April 27th 2015.
Willo said on Saturday, he would rather be on the pitch playing where he can try do something about the outcome of a game, than sitting tense up in the stands, helpless.
Stuart Attwell - the last time he reffed us was a home win against a team from the East Midlands. The last time he reffed Forest was an away defeat (against Hull…).
Just looked at the stats from Forest v Swansea City.
Forest had 30% possession.
I notice they are getting a ‘little bit’ excited over on the Forest forum

They just don’t get it.
The pressure isn’t on us. We have nothing to lose whereas one single slip for them could change their whole season. A season where arguably they ought to have been promoted by now with the quality they have.
We also don’t have to come at them, I’ve no doubt we’ll play similar to how we did at Fulham, create chances and be a threat but not be overly cavalier in our approach.

I can see them parking the bus and using shithousery tactics to spoil the flow of the game and disrupt our momentum. Expect their trainer to be their MOTM with the amount of time he will spend on the pitch.
If we can nick any early goal, then they have to come out to us, which opens them up and suits our attacking intent.
My head is saying 0-0 but my heart is saying 0-2 to the Reds

I can honestly see them trying to get one of our player's sent off and trying to con the ref into getting a peno.

That is true BD but not from the start. I expect a cagey first half and then for the game to really open up in the second half. Probably talking out my arse but that is what I think will happen.

Agreed they have spent millions trying to buy their way back to the Prem but their tactic tonight will be to throw themselves to the ground at every opportunity. Think they will try to wind Surridge up, we havent seen it yet but apparently he has previous which I hope Cooper has spoken to him about. Need the ref to have as big a game as the team.

Well we've got to make the most of home advantage. Forest are good enough for a least one goal but I'll go 3 - 1 to the Blades then a draw, I'll say 2 - 2 at Forest.
cant call it ! traveling over from Skeggy, nervous is not the word, so close i just hope we deliver, like the Fulham game,
Its time the Blades had some play off fortune.
All we need is a 2 goal lead to take to theirs,in my opinion.
Forest also have a shocking play offs record.
Both home and away matches ended in 1-1 draws...
That's how tight it is..I'll stick with my prediction that it will be decided on penalties.
Too nervous - but we never get through play-offs.
Blades to draw at home, and Forest to get a jammy last minute winner at their end to keep us in the Championship, from which we'll emerge the following year as Champions!
Any win to take back to Nottingham will be a positive.A draw not ideal but not the end of the world ?
A show of intent and significant lead going into the second leg would be absolutely ideal. I'm predicting some burnout and complacency from Forest just as we seem to have got into our stride
Team picks itself, same again. Any lead would be massive considering how the league one play offs have gone. 2-0 would be incredible
We have terrible stats with Andre Marriner as referee. 19 games refereed and we've only won 2
Andre Marriner was the referee last time we played a championship playoff 1st leg, against Preston in 2009.
I'm not nervous at all as yet,a bit like last week(Fulham game) i didn't start getting nervous until the teams came out just before KO. I do think it will be close over the 2 ties but wouldn't it be gr8 if we did similar to the Scabs what we did to Fulham. Hope we all enjoy it BLADES folk.
Nervous?
Not in the slightest!
Just enjoy the day fellow Blades.
Yep - nervous - still out in Corfu but will find a way to watch it hopefully tomorrow afternoon.
Would honestly rather lose in the semis than in the final - so not building hopes up
My head is being sensible but my heart is already at Wembley chanting Didzy’s name on the 17th minute
I'd be nervous for the final. The semis are a 180 minutes of football, if we're the better and more canny team we'll go through, if not we take our medicine and look to improve next season.
Just enjoy the match, give good vocal support and what will be will be.
