How utterly shite were Swansea today? What the f is that play out from the back football style they play? Its suicide football against a team as accomplished as us and boring as hell to watch as well. I hate sides trying to play like a Pep side when they dont have the players to execute it. I hated that boring pass pass pass at the back we played under Warburton. How the Swansea fans complain about Cooper's football and yet are content with this stuff is a complete mystery to me.

Apparently we only had 30% possession despite having an unbelievable 17 shots on target.
Not what it looked like to me. Who counts this stuff? Did they give Swansea possession time for when they were rolling around on the floor pretending to be injured?

Great result, great team effort and three more points.

Just got in from going to my first match since Covid, but boy what a match to go and watch. I was due to go to the Leicester game but got covid 2 days before and I was gutted. At least it proves I know which matches to go and watch. Massive thank you to my son for getting me my ticket today.
The first half and the second half were totally opposites. In the first half, we missed so many chances (or so it seemed), but you have to give their keeper some credit for some excellent goal keeping. Their goal kick routine was just bizarre. I mean WTF? The ref didnt seem to know what he was doing and the Lino near the A block was just prancing up and down the line, not knowing how he should use his flag. Then the constant time wasting with the 'injuries' was totally uncalled for and was quite embarrassing for the Swansea fans. Then came the second half and as soon as Sam had got our second, the game just opened up for us and it was the most enjoyable 45 minutes of football I have watched in many a year. The atmosphere inside the ground today was also something else. We were sat in D Block in the Taylor stand and loads were singing in there all through the game as well. I am absolutely knackered now though, but I will certainly sleep well after all of that excitement. I will sort out the Predictions League in the morning. G'night all.

The football league show on quest has just said that we had 27 attempts at goal and 17 on target.
The 17 on target is the highest number of on target shots in any of the 4 divisions this season. Man City and Liverpool both had a max of 15. Madness

Have to say we have been spoilt this season with some stunning goals - the thunderbastard and Colback's volley to namebut 2. However I think Sam's 2nd goal to maake it 3-1 is right up there. Yates wins tackle and lays off to Jimmy, who carries for 40 yards and lays off at just the right time. Sam does the rest.
It sounds simple but stood behind it in LB and watched open mouthed! Could not even celebrate as I took in an inceedible goal - there were limbs everywhere all around me!!!! Wow...just wow.... Bring on Tuesday!

Can anyone explain to me why Christie got booked when we scored our first goal please?
It was a complete clusterfook, Scott is not a great referee IMO.
