My worry with that is that you lose a midfielder - for all zinks lack of forward display in last 2 games his help defensively in midfield has been immense…often not noticed.

Why fix us if we're not broken? Surridge has proven to be a worthy understudy to Davis. Davis appears to not be able to last the full 90 minutes. They can share game time, no problem.

Thats how I see it too. One starts at the weekend the other starts a midweek game and so on.

I like Surridge alot. Looks quick and can finish. Looks a decent target man. Young too.

Probably intended for next season and could be excellent investment.

His two finishes recently makes me think we have stolen a proper, proper finisher from stoke.
They are like hens teeth and it’s very exciting for next season.

Agreed. I'm almost thinking he should possibly start instead of Davis..... and I'm a huge fan of Davis and his all round game!

100%. That's what competition is all about. Instead of "he's sh1t  why not try player X"  or "Stick in that lad from academy, can't be any worse" (We know we've all said that over last 23 year's a few times). We have "Davis has been excellent  but Surridge is really pushing him for a starting spot".

All so positive at moment. Think the minutes will be shared over next 2 games between the pair anyway with crazy schedule we have. Such options.
