It’s a fairly big omission given that it mentions Marinakis twice.

There is a bit of friction with jonno and the owners isn’t there! He is right this time though…

This bit stood out to me , gives an idea of the scale of investment we now have at the academy-

“To offer some context as to how far Forest’s academy has progressed, ten years ago it had just seven full-time members of staff. Today, there are over 100 employees, with almost 50 of those working full-time.”

And yet are still one of the clubs that fails to pay staff the 'real living wage'   no excuse.

Well, no he is not right.

The two people interviewed were members of Gary's Academy team; any failure to give credit where it was due would be down to them and not the owner.

And as for Jonno's idiotic remark about Cat1; he should try learning what the qualifying criteria is before being critical.

The old adage of better to remain silent and look an idiot rather than speak up and remove all doubt, has never been more apt.

It also depends on whether they are employed by the club or are self employed working at the club. Me and my daughter have had dozens of arguments about this regarding where she works as she is only paid about a fiver an hour in real terms due to what the club have agreed to pay her in relation to the amount of work she actually has to do to set up her day. Because she is self employed, it is not illegal, but if she complains about it, she is told to go elsewhere if she is not happy.

Forest U23s hammered Reading 7-0 tonight, including a hat-trick for Will Swan.

Climbing that table.
So does the PL2 have promotion / relegation?
Is it just one that goes up and down?

Also, why are some teams listed as PL2 and others U23?

Good to see Panzo getting a game.

What is it with Swan? Bangs em in for fun in U23s but no sign he is likely to step up to 1st team. He is 21 now, didnt do a lot at a loan at Port Vale, needs a chance to show he can do it in senior football.

U23s, our goal from Jay Cooper. Forest goals from Gibson Hammond, Salmon and Swan x2. We gave a great account of ourselves there, some lethal finishing from Forest. Thanks to the 941 who came out #SFC
