Oh Lord.  Gary Megson by a mile.  He made us anti-football to the extreme and almost sent us down to league 2.

Gary?  We've had an epic confetti list of managerial failures who played mediocre-anti-football.  Some fans even wanted Warnock.  Doughty did employ Kinnear.  An embarrassment as Forest manager.

Kinnear didn't take us to the edge of league 2.  Just saying.    Also his games were way more entertaining regardless of what you thought of him.  Megson's brand was mind numbing at best.

A dark day when Forest employed the manager of the 'crazy gang.'  Kinnear? The train was leaving the station for League 2. Forest were already on fast track for League 2 when he was ignominiously sacked with the squad a mere shadow of the one Hart had achieved the play offs with.  But I guess we were 'serious' about promotion. He followed the football romantic Paul 'We didn't deserve him' Hart. Just to rub salt into the wounds. You've lost the plot when you employ Kinnear. Just sayin'. All Gary had to do was apply the chloroform. Jesus H Christ couldn't have saved Forest.

Mind numbing?  Most of the last 20 years has been.  With precious few highlights.  As was the mind numbing decision to employ Kinnear, Gary and other mediocre anti-football specialists. Like Monty and Sabri.

Yes.  That's the way I remember it with Sandy as the main bidder of a consortium behind him.  I just didn't know Nigel was a member of that.

Yes Sandy Anderson was the front for Doughty. He made his money from the privatisation of British rail. Bought a stud farm at Bunny fronted the bid and "retired"
