I just dont think you can drop Davis atm. He's a match winner. Agree about Zinc though. He could come in.

More about managing him than dropping Pap. He was absolutely brilliant at Blackburn but he looked shot after 60 minutes, he can easily pull up with a hamstring or something if we are not careful but Cooper and his medical staff know best of course not me.

Every games a big one now though Sniff. If he needed a rest it should've been last weekend.

Dont forget he played very little before coming here. It will take him a few games to get up to full match fitness and with the energy levels he produces during a match, he does tire opposition defenders out. Then by bringing on Surridge on 60 minutes we have a fresh attacker running at a tired defence. It makes sense for me to carry on as we have been doing TBH

Might we see Zinck come in and give Garner a rest, leaving Colback alongside Yates? Again, bring Garner on for the final 30 to get at their defence.

Again, Garner's looking excellent atm. Why would you rest him?

Same team for me apart from maybe Zinc to be more attacking.

We've got a week after this to rest, need to keep the run going.

JUST KEEP WINNING.

Please.

Thanks you

Interesting comment from Cooper in an interview a couple of weeks ago - we don't have substitutes as such we have starters and finishes.

Small point but interesting psychologically.
Here we go.....

Unless Garners got a knock - play him.

Basically straight out of Eddie Jones' quotebook. He has used that tactic extremely well for England rugby. Point being that the difference in quality between the starters and finishers is not big or even zero. I could see us use it well up front, with the defence playing the entire match.

Same team as we played against Leicester for me. Zinc back in for Colback.

This talk of testing is interesting- we are not full of mid- 30s that need to be rested in 3 game weeks.
I get Davis - this is the most he has played probably ever in his career.

It’s also very good that we have some options now…

They are managing Davis well.

He hasn’t played for more than 70 mins in any of his games.

He should be good for another 60 on Saturday.

Its great that we have a settled core group of players that are delivering the results, a consistent group of around 14 with the occasional back up from Cafu and Silva who have both shown an excellent attitude when they have been given a chance. Would like to see Laryea given a few minutes at the end some time too. Successful teams tend not to rotate much, its a good sign.

When players who run at teams like Davis, Spence and jonno and they start to perform consistently it really puts the wind up defences. They get caught between a high line and dropping off. The crowd expectation gets up and defenders poo themselves.

Stoke have some good players - their form with Powell and without him is stark. He is back fit now. Lewis baker has been a decent signing and they have many striker options who all offer something different. Maja seems to have hit the ground running.

They have switched to a 433 so could be a tactical battle.

This will be a really tough game - much tougher than Wednesday. If zink plays he will have to be on it like v Leicester rather than like v cardiff…

Personally I would look to match them with a 433 and I’d play Davis surridge and jonno as the front 3 with Colback Yates and garner in midfield.

Tough game…

Couldn't agree more with this. Start with Davis, let him give us his best 60-70 mins, terrify the opposition defence, wear them out, and then bring on Surridge (hopefully with us ahead).
