Its easy for us to say that he is good cover for that and this position, but he is a human being after all. The boy was ever present when we had `a struggling` team, he played in every position required from him, and now that we have ` a decent` team he finds himself on the bench and being used `as cover`. He is not 21 years old, he is 24 years old (might be mistaken here), he will want to play regular football and not be `cover`. Can you imagine what will be his role, if we have to strengthen in January? do you think that these things doesnt go through his mind? What will happen in the summer (promoted or not)? If I was in his place and know that there is interest in me out there, I will leave it until the January transfer window and if the situation doesnt change, I will ask to go on loan where I can play regular football. Understandably AK is persisting with his signings, giving them chance after chance after chance, hoping that eventually they might give us a WHOLE game (not sprinkle of class), but at the same time when players (that are not his signings) are drafted in, he (and some of the fans) expect them to play like Hazard, if not they will say that they had the chance and blew it (sic-Yates-he played only one game,v Bury and many said that he had the chance and blew it-but the Portugese kids doesnt matter how many chances they blew, we keep persisting hoping that they come good).

for the way that karanka wants to play Osborn just doesn't fit.
-left back, not good enough -2 holding positions - better options available to him - attacking trio - better options available than him. that's just my opinion. if I see him coming on a sub in midfield I know he will give it his best, work hard and wont let the team down. I just think the others offer more quality than him.

We need to keep him because injuries and suspensions and lack of form will all click in at some point and he can cover so many positions.
Ben needs to accept though (as does every player) that he cannot be guaranteed a start and rightly so.

Duncan, at the end of the day, its not what we want, but what he wants ...its his carear and his future that is at stake. This is not a FIFA game, for cover we can keep Watson or some aging player, not a player that consider himself at his prime (or should be at his age). If he doesnt fit in AK`s game, then he should be honest enough with him and tell him that. If we persist with AK and AK persists with his system, then Ozzy doesnt have a future here, and we shouldnt be grudge him if he decides that it is time to move on. Will not be the first and will not be the last, that`s football. To be honest, it happens in every job at the end of the day. To keep an unmotivated player/s is detrimental, to the player (as a person) and to the value of the player (so detrimental to the club), let them go and get someone else in...or promote a kid from the academy...just my view, might be mistaken..

I would be amazed if he doesn’t accept that? It appears that we’ve gone from a Tweet (by his Dad) which could have been interpreted in different ways to questioning Ben’s character and contribution to the squad. If he did want out I couldn’t really blame him given the amount of unwarranted stick that comes his way.

'Interfering' fathers/family members doesn't go down very well with our owners. Ask Vellios.

I remember Vellios dad always being on facebook writing crap in the Nottingham Forest Supporters Group page. I am sure it did his son no favours at all.

It was Vellios uncle most of the time who was making a complete prat of himself, not his father. Mr.Osborn, please take note!
