Have you seen how much those casual ill-prepared primadonnas cost? They put out a good and strongish side.
My point is that they were ill prepared for the game. They may have cost a fortune and had some big hitters on the pitch but for some reason they turned up on the night expecting to put in little effort and breeze through the tie. Their poor attitude was illustrated by the lad who got hooked off in the first half.
When we named our full strength side it was obvious to most watching that our Forest team on our own pitch was going to be a decent challenge but they couldnt match our endeavour or break down our organised and disciplined defence. They were just waiting for us to wilt but, as we so often do these days, we actually came our stronger in the 2nd half and upped our game, and it killed them.
Im not trying to demean our performance, it was excellent and Cooper did a job on them. The point im making is that Leicester will not have the same attitude or underestimate us like Arsenal did and it'll be a far more difficult game.
Fair enough. Agree with what you say but fairly sure it was previously written that they'd put a weak side out. No bother, we did do a good job on them.
I do think Leicester will be more professional. But, we definitely still have a chance if we're on our game! Two counterattack teams..... might be uncomfortable for them as they'll have the ball and will be expected to try to break us down more than they normally do.

Not a 'weak' side. But one with some key players missing, yes.
I'd expect Leicester to be more combative. We'll see.

They looked weak in central midfield where they had two youngsters playing. Yates and Garner schooled them. Locongo and Patino, despite apparently being superstars in the making looked completely out of their depth.

Forest need a culture of going out there to win EVERY game they play.
Completely agree, that Arsenal game may have been the first time we played a full strength team in a cup game that I can remember. It's only one game and we have a decent squad now, lets go hard for the win. Maybe that's not the most pragmatic approach in the current world with all the postponements flying round but there are morale considerations too.
Plus, if we play a weakened side it might allow them to take us to ET and pens which will be tiring.

We have 3 games in 6 days starting with the Cup game. We will have to rotate the squad to some degree, hopefully we have a few options to put out a strong team for each but as the cliche goes the league has to take priority.

Yep. There's an FA cup rule about away teams being offered a minimum percentage of the tickets to the game. Or summat.

An account on Twitter (probably trying to start some kinda feud) said they should get 8000 and that we will barely fill the rest of the stadium…
