What happened Joe is that he signed a knackered left back from Newcastle and some sicknote defender from Man City and ended up playing McGovern at Centre back. We finished 8th and were dumped out the cup by Peterborough. Not good enough, Clough Out!

I used to watch the sport on Saturday lunchtime, Bob Wilson, every week, Nottingham Forest, the bubble will burst, lol

Bob Bloody Wilson.  'Bubble will burst' blah blah blah.  And even when the Golden Age team broke up...and Forest rebuilt (will struggle...could get relegated etc.). Clough proved them wrong.  Again.  And again.  Turfed out their precious Liverp**l in the 1st round of the European Cup.  Howz that?

I remember it all quite well. The football 'establishment' with their head so far up Man U, Pool's, Tottenham's ****s, 'unfashionable' Forest were never rated. The press had their 'party line.' It never got the credit they deserved. In a recent documentary, Graham Souness had to give Forest credit through gritted teeth. (Yeah, Graham. You were beaten. How did that happen, you hubris big headed 'hard man'? Eh?)

Match of the Day!  *Blows a BIG Raspberry whilst making an unseemly (naughty SA...) sign at them.

What a great night out that was, can still remember being stood in the ground afterwards singing “unbeaten away”.

One of my favourite ever games/chants. I only went as my gf's family at the time lived in Nuneaton. This hasn't soured my memory though!
