HT at Alfreton and #NFFC have held out following a costly start that saw them go behind to an Anderson penalty after only 3 mins. Keeper Hogarth was sent off 9 mins later for handling outside the box. Young sub Akers replaced him and it remains 1-0 to Newcastle u23s.
Dale Taylor not had much chance to impress, as Forest have mainly been defending, with ten men.
Hammond the stand out #NFFC player so far. A great tackle stopped a Newcastle attack and he had a decent shot at the other end.
Richardson has had good moments at RB. Barnes solid.
