I wouldn't be surprised if Cooper didn't go for both.
Garner isn't ours and Yates is still developing. (And kudos to him vs Huddersfield.)
But I don't see Swansea letting either go unless they need the money or 'out the 1st team' picture under the new manager they have.

I very much doubt whether Murphy bought anything with him from Barnsley.
The Data analysis set up at Barnsley was introduced by one of their owners, Billy Beane of Moneyball fame; he uses a tool based on a system called sabermetrics and it is heavily protected with intellectual property rights.
We have just bought in two data analysis experts in George Syrianos and Vangelis Perpiridis; Syrianos was formerly head of Analytics at Stuttgart and Peripidis has a Masters Degree in football coaching and analysis; they will be the ones crunching the numbers.
Besides that, Murphy is CEO; he will not have time to mess around with things like data.
The big worry about Cooper is the perceived rigid structure he employs, which is supposed to be similar that of Hughtons; given Lolley's post match post about finally having the freedom to play, I cannot see such rigidity going down too well with the players.

...IF. One of those frustrating words. Especially for Forest fans over the last two decades.
I had a grudging respect for what he did with Sheff U. What he did and how he came across. He was his own man. He had his own ideas and clearly a very passionate Blades fan.
I like a bit of character that in a manager.

Yes i know he did but I don't believe him :cool:
He couldn't really say yes I was interviewed and I spoke to Forest while Chris Hughton was still in charge.

I wouldn’t be dissatisfied with Cooper- especially if it really is Danes pick. But wilder is the one I wanted and whatever is true we haven’t got it done.
I’d be more happy if he did indeed speak to us but it didn’t fit.

Wilder's being very complimentary about us now but if he got rhe job and got his feet under the table he'd start to kick off when he didnt get his own way, just like he did at Sheffield. I admire him as a manager but he's old skool, he wants to run the entire show.

I'm quite happy we aren't entertaining Wilder and in the clubs defense i can see why the want Cooper.
If the penny has finally dropped with EM and co and they are prepared to let Murphy have complete control, things may just work... LONG TERM.
This is no short term solution, this is going to take a few seasons to come off so patience is key for all, including us fans.

Well, that's it Pap, he has a reputation for falling out with people.
He was big mates with McCabe at the Blades who used to let him just get on with things; once McCabe had gone things quickly turned sour.
