Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager

That would then depend on him - does he want to sit at home taking Swansea’s money or get back in the hot seat and terminate his deal at cost to him.

Yep, that's how I thought these things worked. If you're sacked you sit at home taking your salary until the point at which you take new employment, and the contract is cancelled. And I think there are NDA's involved too - that's why we never hear any grumbles from sacked managers about us.

John Terry apparently gone from 16/1 to 6/1 with one bookmakers.

Just what I was thinking Tricks. Ugly face, nice football.

Cooper another boring negative 4,2,3,1 mercant, brilliant so much for a new ethos, we can't step away for defensive football

Yep transfermarkt suggests his preferred formation is 4231  :D

Made playoffs last year but scored 23 goals less than Brentford. The football will likely be similar to Sabri's tenure.

Also worth noting that until this season Swansea had parachute payments, so Cooper had a distinct financial advantage and a few players like Ayew left over from the prem days.

According to George Harby:

In 38 Championship fixtures last season, Cooper deployed a 3-4-1-2 or 3-5-2 system.

Don’t know much about Cooper but if he’s got the balls to go three at the back then he’s a perfect fit.
Given the Fullbacks we brought in, all of whom are really wing backs, I do wonder if the recruitment drive was actually with SC in mind (or even wilder tbf) …..

When asked who he thought would be his successor at Forest, Chris Hughton replied "Whjydoncha Fucjkoff". Journalists are now scrabbling all over Transfermrkt trying find out who this manager is. Is this the Serbian manager Sniff alluded to a few days ago?

Lucky man if he did. I spent more than 10 years there. It's a cracking place.
