Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager

this morning don't feel good

this season was written off at the end of last season and ditto for last season, our season's optimism is dead after 7 games

Here's a poison chalice.

A lot of our forward thinking players are either (a) very raw and as such inconsistent or (b) have major flaws and hence playing with us at this level.

First things first, we need better results and consistency.

Probably not, in terms of staying up this feels like it will help though

We have to be pragmatic and have something to build from.

Forest don't build.  They tear down.

We don't have attacking players, that's the conundrum. If you choose a manager based on stats to suit what the club has, then he seems a perfect match, but when will it ever change?

Hughton had '2 games' with 'his' (well, allegedly) choice c or d targets.  And no striker.  They came in late. Almost a year (he survived without his own striker. A year.)

And the results of that train wreck were predictable enough.

In lay man's terms, I think Forest BEEPED Chris over.  But he's not the 1st manager Forest have 'done over.'

I'll tap my ruby red heels (there's no place like 78/79....there's no place like 78/79...) and see what the next victim, cough, I mean 'coach', no..get it right SA, 'Manager' can do.

With a string, cardboard box and stick back cellotape.

#nffc ready to open talks with Steve Cooper, after Chris Hughton is sacked following six defeats in seven matches. Forest hope to appoint Cooper before the weekend, with new CEO Dane Murphy leading the process.

Danes choice then.

Sniff's a diamond geezer.  He lets us have our fun on his dime.

God bless 'im.  *(SA does best cockney voice.  Don't do that SA, you're beginning to sound like Hughton.)
