We haven't got players of that quality in the side.

That's the problem.

Same, I still get jealous watching Antonio smashing it in the prem this year and wondering how we didn't get closer to promotion with him in the team.

We probably need Jonno back rather than Reidy and Cohen in terms of ex players to throw into the team!

A big problem. But i can live with the hope that hughton was just terrible at coaching and that whoever comes in will transform these journeymen into workd class performers.

I mean it can't be that difficult to uncover the next Brian Clough can it?

Might not be linked but Alex Neil was at the match tonight.

Cohen and/or Reid? Not for me. Don’t want to be throwing them straight into a relegation fight when neither of them have managed a team before.

1. Wozza and Taylor player managers
2. Brazil
3. Paul Hart and Andy Reid

i reckon all them would get a bounce and scoop a few points, if '1' worked out winning would feel like even more fun, Brazil would do a good solid job for a few games and 3. would also be very popular and maybe the more sensible

A romantic notion.  Hughton has been backed.  Late.  And poorly.

We had our warning last season on our recruitment and the whole of pre-season to manage the transition to Plan B.

As for your last point?  Over two decades and counting.

Not Brazil for me - for whatever reason he has never made it work at first team level. Lets keep him where he is, he has found his niche and he is doing a good job.

I'd like to see if someone like woan would want to go it alone - i'm not sure he would be any good but as one of my favourite players in my youth, it would tick the nostalgia box

It would be great if this happened!

It's not impossible that Garner will improve as he gets match fitness, one of the RBs turns out to be great, Ojeda turns out to be way better than Yates, 3 at the back suits out squad better, Brennan and Mighten become our centre forwards and turn out to be great
