And there we go.

Inevitable.

It's not like Boro have been great at football or anything.

We've made two mistakes and been punished for both.

Gift wrapped 3 points.

SA.

I don't think we've played one decent team all season. The quality of opposition has been shockingly average.

Forest have, however, been shockingly poor. And not just up front but all over the pitch.

As you said - there are no fighters in this side (other than worrall and even he more be ready to throw it in)

Cov - 4th
Bournemouth - 3rd
Stoke - 5th
Blackburn - 8th
Cardiff - 9th

You miss the point - they might be up the league, but not one side was incredible and amazing to watch.

Its like saying we had 12 shots but how many were simply long range punts with a 1 in a 100 chance of going in.

The reality is this team is incredibly poor and deserves to be bottom, not because we've played phenomenal opponents but because we've been slow, predictable and poor.

Aye.

(And Soh who put him in it.)

To get done by two mistakes.  That kind of stuff 'kills' you 'dead.'  You can see the life drain out the team.

You just can't do that in the Championship.

Come on, Forest. Get a goal. Show some bottle.

5 mins of stoppage.

Exodus begins. Fans head for the exit.

No probably not but a new manager won't do any better. Unless ojeda and drager are actually Ronaldo and messi...

I take the point about mistakes but have we looked like taking the game to them at all second half.

We haven't looked like scoring, even before their second

The only consolation is that he can't do much worse.

The bar set for improvement is incredibly low

I'd like to see what they can do but...

Is '6.5' big enough to get Forest out of the mess they put themselves in?

I disagree, I genuinely think a different manager could do better. I don’t think these group of players are as bad as the table suggests.

We've got to hope.

But i do agree. I think a new face will hopefully install fresh thinking and a bit of confidence - for whatever reason it hasn't happened for Hughton.

Got to believe that whoever comes in will need to uncover a few more fighters

If they had a quality striker and some battle general Worrall type in CM they maybe.

But they have all the hallmarks of 'nice guy' team that can't defence and can't score.  It was a bit like this under Calderwood before they pulled the Billy Davies rip cord.

I think there are ones more suited to this squad & situation.

But yep, they'll still have a massive job on their hands.
