Just been looking at the league table. We've played some decent sides so far. Easiest game was against the sheep and even then any local derby is always a difficult game.
The current league position of our opponents we've played so far is 6 cov, 5 Bourn, 10 Black, 3 Stoke, 16 sheep, and 8 Cardiff. So discount the sheep and we've played 5 of the top 10 in the division. Average = 8th position.
Compare to the sheep. They've played Udders 9th, Pboro 23, Hull 20, Boro 15, Us 24 and Brum 7th. So most difficult has been v Brum at 7th. Average 16th position.
Easier games to come for us hopefully in the next few weeks.

Last season Barnsley had 4 points after 7 games played and they ended up in the play-offs. It's still not completely unrealistic but we probably need a Valerien Ismael type of manager.

He's a big intimidating guy who demands a lot from his players for 90+ minutes. You can see it in the way he yells at his players from the touchline. I image he's shit scary in the dressing room. You can see how he'd make an impact on any side.

I've always thought part of the reason Klopp is successful is that he's a big physical & intimidating presence. Obviously knows his stuff too though, as I'm sure Ismael does.

Yeah I agree. But I also think he will give younger players a lot of enthusiasm and encouragement and probably give it to the older seasoned pros that should know better. Don't think it's rocket science - some people really need revving up, some need a gentler approach, a manager than can adapt on a person by person basis will do well. I can't help thinking Chris is a bit one dimensional and not very likely to give anyone the hard line.

Such promise.
If we can string two halves like that together vs Boro'...we maybe pick up our 1st 3 points.

Just heard a pretty decent BBC interview with Wozza. Typical say it as it is style, realistic but very positive.
