Interesting point about Cafu.  I wonder if having on the pitch 2nd half vs Cardiff would have helped?  (I didn't think Brennan was doing much.)

He and Garner formed a decent partnership last time around?

He may have pulled off a few decent saves this season, but that is his job at the end of the day. He has also been accountable for 3, maybe 4 of the goals we have conceded so far this season. He is very suspect at crosses and slow to cover his right hand post (being a left hander, this is his weaker side). He has also let too many shots past him on his near post.

Taylor, whilst industrious for about an hour on Saturday, also needs to be dropped. He is either not that strong under challenge or is constantly trying to win free kicks by going down too easily. Referees will no doubt have picked up on his petulant nature and constantly bitching at them that he rarely gets things going his way. They have marked his card so to speak!

Let us not forget that Spence is ruled out tomorrow as he can't play against his parent club.

My team then............

               Horvath

 Back, Worrall, McKenna, Lowe

          Yates, Garner,

Lolley,                            Zinkernagel,

          Grabban
                     Johnson

Completely agree, particularly as we actually signed someone to compete with him (who would need an extended run of games to fully judge)

Samba has really made a lot of errors this season, more than you would expect for you average keeper.

Points.  He's cost points.  Several.

Build form the back.

Time for Horvath.

I agree- his communication, distribution and urgency in the games I have seen him have been way above sambas. He has also pulled off some unbelievable saves v wolves and samba needs a kick up the back side.

I like the look of that team, Samba definitely needs dropping to the bench, he's making far too many costly mistakes and I think it was time for CH to look at our non productive midfield partnership, for me Yates wouldn't even make the bench, he offers nothing more than giving the opposition free kicks.

I won't be surprised if both Samba and Yates are playing tomorrow night and another loss is looming.

Cafu did click well with Garner last season.  They had that elusive chemistry.

Interesting line up.  Like to see what Silva can do.

I would like to see Horvath playing tonight - Samba has not been up to standard yet this season and I think against Cardiff and their tall players, he should have been looking to take the ball that led to the first goal, but I don't know if he is lacking a bit of confidence, because he has come out to collect a few this season and missed. His distribution is not as good as previous.
Also happy Sammy isn't playing for them tonight cos he could have been a handful for Back presuming he plays.

A couple of players we have missed to a degree have been Sammy and Sow (a player with power in CM that may have prevented the team getting over run.)
