Nah dont believe this for a second. One thing that has changed for the better is that we no longer give out contracts to pensioners. Thats one of the reasons we have comparatively struggled to bring people in this year.

Not entirely convinced this will be true, not the most inspiring.  Played 16 games (but only 384 minutes) last season.  Scoring 1 goal.

Surely this would have to be a free transfer, should it ever happen and if he is still on Celta Vigos books, then he isnt a free agent? Or am I looking at this all wrong?

There's no getting away from it. No matter who is manager (and Hughton just caught out with holding the 'prize' from Forest's game of pass the parcel...) Forest are going to have to go through this transitional pain barrier.

I can stand the pain and have the patience to see the manager and recruited playing staff claw some points to mid-table by the half season / Christmas time. Hopefully, by then we'll have the confidence to develop Forest's style of football but if it's winning football with a 4-3-3? I don't care.

I'd then like the club continue with Plan B in January and build on the Summer's work.

Facunda has got his move to Chile. 500k for a 1 year contract.


I guess bringing in 'two strikers' is easier said than done. With much of the general team building done in the Summer window, perhaps January or more likely, next Summer when many key earners are set to leave we'll be able to put 'more' into it. Maybe a free agent opportunity or a January prospect will emerge.

I'm itching to upgrade my Transfer Window score to an 8.
