Got them to the play offs but couldn’t stand him and his boring football. I don't think that was a defence of Hughton, more a point that what's the point of just appointing a Hughton Mark 2

If you're in a relegation scrap you want an experienced manager with a stoic team. Ch will have to do that because he's getting nothing from the club to help him out.

I don't fancy even his chances with the current team. He made the point post match. 'We need to recruit.' SA.

He cant be a poor man. If I were him id walk.

Paul Hart, he'd at least change things, might get the bounce, very loyal, used to clubs dumping on him from a great height and we haven't got anything to offer a 'big time charlie', they all want to chuck cash around.
Even so whoever, i'd still choose Paul Hart he might drag Cohen along and Luton had a bad day today, gerron the phone Dane Wilder will be back at the blades soon
No one of any note will take the job. They'll be thinking if CH cant do it then no way can I. If the manager comes from this country it'll be someone like Gary Monk. Someone who has nothing to lose. But itbwont be anyway. It'll be someone from the Bulgarian 2nd divison who the computer says is top notch.
And he wont come until the day after the transfer window closes.

This thread is supposed to be about our next manager not the current one.
Haven't seen anyone come up with a good alternative to Hughton yet. So who do you want and why?
Panic on the streets of London

If Wilder was given enough free reign to put his stamp on the club I'd have him here in a flash. Was seen at the CG the other night and, as I'm sure you're aware, some of the top brass are said to be fans of him. But, much like Hughton and other managers such as AK & MON, we'd have to back him properly. I think his relationship with Murphy would be massively key, and his Sheff U team hunted in packs off the ball, so would probably fir Murphy's MO regards "gegenpressen"

I would like someone that plays this progressive, attacking style of football that everyone is so keen on. Then no-one can ask for the next manager to be sacked repeatedly, when we're inevitably no better than now.
Uwantlee said he'd be happy to lose 5-0 as long as we attack so I'd like to hold him to that :D |
