Steve Cooper had them disciplined, pretty tight? Remember we had the lowest number of goals (for and against) in our matches out of the 92 clubs last season - joint with Stevenage or someone I think. Swansea were a low one, but obviously they had come out the right side on them in general. He'd probably be good, it's just harder to look forward to a low goals regime after the last few years!
Yeah, but Swansea were a well run club and have been for years.
Transitions of power don't end up like trainwrecks there.
Swansea were dull vs Brentdford in the play offs. They couldn't handle Brentford at all.

He'd need to walk on water with this team.

But Swansea are well run. They recruit. They have had a plan for years and stick to it.

Clough lost Des and Teddy and it sent him down.
Even he needed good players.
Hughton doesn't have the players he wants right now.
Who's fault is that?

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thinks this. It doesn't matter who the manager is, this was a bad team last year and it's got worse since!

Again I agree but At the moment we are relegation bound, would a younger manager with modern ideas and outlook change our fortunes, he can’t do any worse, surely?

He could've also lost to Bradford... :D
Yeah, I don't think it would make the team worse either, just that the recruitment is more important.

You need good players. Without them. We're going down.

Go and ask a Swansea fan what they think of Steve Cooper. Got them to the play offs but couldn’t stand him and his boring football.
