Didn’t Wassy say this result doesn’t go towards Hughtons match win percentage though?

:D

Ha you almost sound disappointed we won Widdow! Yes you are correct though, this game should be stricken from the records!  :D

My season ticket is in lower bridgford so sitting in a block gave a slightly different perspective. I am of an age where i believe officials should do their job but the linesman in front of us was shocking. He could not even do the basics as he kept missing foul throws. Players constantly with only one foot on the floor. My lad tells me to stop moaning because no cares but it annoys me. Fair play to the ref who over ruled him on some fouls he was tryng to give but it confused players.

Rant over ?

Love a good rant about foul throws!  :D

Yep, wanted us to win, i didn't want us to write off the cup, always clear on that, so delighted we are in second round and another home tie, which will help with finances.

Lest not forget, Bradford managed to get to the final in 2013 as a second division side, so why can't we go on a run, especially if the premier league clubs so don't take it seriously (bar Man City)

I agree in normal circumstances I always think you should play the first team in cup games. Always feels a waste when we rotate, particularly as you say others are rotating too so we'd have an increased chance of victory. I know managers like to use it as an opportunity to get games into the squad players but aside from maybe where it's a close contest who is going to start I'm not sure it's worth the benefit of making loads of changes and then looking disjointed. Like for example against Swansea last year.

Hopefully by round 2 we have a fully stocked squad and the only rotation is where the competition for places is fierce because we have such a loaded squad!  :D

Having seen Cafu’s Kung fu kick to try and stop the ball instead of jumping and putting his body in the way I can totally agree with him!

Having only the quick highlights to comment on - was impressed with the combination of Finn Back and Zing and was a great ball from Back to Zing for the first goal. Also noticed Back was there for the second goal pushing down the wing to allow Zing inside and 2 great passes as assists. The other thing that was excellent was the way Carvalho took the goals. How many times do you see the ball cut back with pace and the finish ends up in row Z. The technique from Carvalho for both goals was top drawer and brilliant finishes.

Fin involved in the build up to both goals. His name got mentioned alot. Looked a very mature (beyond his years) player.

The assists for the goals were pure class. The kind of delivery Forest were missing last season. Zinc Man. Very welcome quality.

...and those finishes showed the deft touch of class Forest should be aiming for. Composured next level finishes.

I think Fin and Fornah should be on the bench for the 1st team, at least. Fornah is another who seems quite mature and a MoTM performance that spoke for itself.

Richardson may be a RB? Be he seemed very promising at LB. Very involved. Played without fear.

Think Horvath looks a better keeper than Samba.

I'll add to Hughton's note of caution that Forest (obviously) still need to bring in bodies for competition in certain areas (which are well documented.). It's one thing to do it with Young Guns against Bradford. Another to do it vs Bournemouth, ofc.

SA.

It also guarantees another 'Double Pointer' in the predictions league  ;)

I was going to ask, what is the double pointer rule again?

Had Samba been in goal no one would be mentioning Cafu.

It was a foot inside the post and his wrists were made of sawdust.
