Nottingham Forest - Bradford City
Just back-
That last 25 minutes of the first half was a joy. Fin Back - absolute quality and my MOM. However, Zinkernackle was fantastic and a real leader / talker on the pitch. 3 examples. 1. First 5 minutes - ran over to fin back and Fernandez and told them to calm down and take a touch and look up. 2. Talking with threes and Fin about movement and feigning passes- 30 seconds later a great ball to sink from Fornah and a minute later acres of space for fin back and a goal… 3. Acknowledgment of Fornah and back. He is obviously a top pro and can see him shine for us…

Goalie - excellent and quick distribution - good handling - decent saves - disgusted at the wall for the goal - Cafu?
Back - brilliant debut. A Bobby Moresque tackle on the last minute summed him up. Great engine - intelligent footballer - think he may well be a number 8 in time. My MOM
Fernandez- clumsy at times but brave. Lucky not to give a pen away
Harbottle- classy - loved his confidence to carry the ball out once he settled. Thought he lacks physicality but stood up well to the league 2 brutes.
Richardson- clearly has talent - moves so well with the ball but hindered by playing on the left. Did well defensively though
Cafu- not great actually today but perhaps a lot of unseen off ball work that have others space
Fornah- 25 minute spell with n first half he was Watson with legs
Konante- raw - needs to work on first touch but has something
Zinkernackle- could well be an outstanding signing- made me think about how poor Lolley has been for some time. Great attitude and a leader!
Carvalho- did himself no harm- great goals but work ethic excellent throughout
Mighten- did very well and made me think about how we miss a bit of raw pace up front with our two other centre forwards. Decision making not quite there yet but it will come. Good option as a pacy centre forward to have.

Da Costa- clearly unfit and not great on the wing but improved a little when he went centre forward.
Figgs- did well - won most duels and very physical
Yates- won an important header at the end - he can do a job at centre half if we get desperate!

Lino second half Peter Taylor side- shocking

Enjoyable first half - attritional second but kids stood up.

Yep, agree with all of that.

Been saying for a while that Fin Back is the next breakthrough player.

Got the lot - he’s a Rolls Royce and comes from great stock.

Well done to the youngsters last night.

Carvalho has to take his chance in the league if and when he gets it.

Sounds like Samba could finally have some much needed competition for the number one spot.

Really enjoyed the post match interview with Tyrese. Confident and humble. Will be very interesting to see what happens with him this season. Bags of potential.

Just read CH post match comments, mentioned that Tutu can play LB. Sounds like that's the plan for Saturday then

Didn’t Wassy say this result doesn’t go towards Hughtons match win percentage though?

I’d be playing Horvath Saturday going by last nights performance. Looked very good.

Pretty much agree with all the comments. I came away from the game feeling positive about tje future having seen the performance.

My season ticket is in lower bridgford so sitting in a block gave a slightly different perspective. I am of an age where i believe officials should do their job but the linesman in front of us was shocking. He could not even do the basics as he kept missing foul throws. Players constantly with only one foot on the floor. My lad tells me to stop moaning because no cares but it annoys me. Fair play to the ref who over ruled him on some fouls he was tryng to give but it confused players.

Rant over ?
