That.  Is a load of rolex. Stoke at least had continuity of government. So what's their excuse? Forest, given a Hughton pre-season and Summer window will be transformed.

There is no WAY this side is top of the bottom 8 next season.  (We may yet finish mid-table if we can win a game...). Under Hughton? We're not that far off Stoke. And Stoke have been near the play offs for much of this season. So while the table doesn't quite show it, Forest have improved in many ways under Hughton. Enough to banish(?) the bottling sting of last season to the history books. Sabri's Forest had a glass chin. Hughton's Forest compete. They keep going. Nothing less than honesty is demanded.

Hughton has been very patient and given Sabri's squad a long, long piece of rope.  To hang themselves.

Sabri's blue print will be shredded and burned to a crisp.  Players jettisoned.  Pretenders expunged.  Under performers and Posers expedited out the club.

The gravy train.  Is O.  Ver.

The Sword Of Damocles started to fall a while back lest any Hughton critics weren't paying attention.  A manager who has been visibly angry with some of the under performances 'here and there.'

The players have been given every chance to impress.

You have to give O'Neil credit.  He saved Stoke from relegation and had them hanging around the play offs, for a while, this season.

But it took him two seasons to do so.

Been watching them from afar on the Quest EFL the last two seasons.  Yep.  They've had their injuries and getting a striker to put the goals away has been an ongoing issue.  But they didn't have a problem putting one past Rib' on Saturday...

Hughton's had less time, less advantages than O'Neil and is only two wins behind Stoke.

WELL this is winnable,so lets believe,what do others think?

You say they're all winnable,problem is the players don't read your post,the Derby game could and it's a big COULD be interesting.

Exactly, too many 'winnable' games haven't turned out like that at all. Just have to keep everything crossed and hope for best. TBH I'm not sure if staying up would be a good thing, for the fans anyway as without some investment we could just end up haven't the same kind of season, at least in league 1 we have a chance of competing.

Think we need a win really although depending on the others results we might get away with a point if results are kind to us.

I have to dip my toe in.

Forest have the 5th best defensive record in the League.

We've had numerous "winnable" games this season that would have seen us safe by now, we've failed in most of them so I've no reason to expect this one to be any different, hope I'm wrong.

Definitely a winnable game for Wednesday, bit of a bogey team for forest so a reckon a 3-0 win

Not going to matter though because I think Rotherham will get 6 points from their last 3 games to send Wednesday and Derby down

Our university educated expert Guru ROGETS  has revealed all.

It must have been said many times over the years that the next game is the most important game ever but I believe the next two games ARE the most crucial in our entire history.  First the Forest game, and if we win, the Derby game will be the most important ever. I say this because I really fear admin and extinction. Some people say it doesn't really matter because if we go down we will regroup and rebuild. But it's better to do that in this division than the pub league, even if we stay up by the skin of our teeth. Going down would lose us millions in TV money and gates. Who would you rather play, Fleetwood, Cheltenham, Wimbledon and Cambridge, or United, WBA, Forest and Fulham ? 

Football is in crisis and I expect clubs to go bust, and, make no mistake, we are a prime candidate. Our beloved ground is decrepit, and we don't even own it, the shop, marketing,  and hospitality boxes are in disarray. I could go on but we all  know our huge problems.  Staying in this division and releasing the big earners might just be enough to make a new start.  I know long term (even medium term) we need more than that  but it might just be the beginning of a gradual rebirth.

Anyway, to sum up, I just don't want another season in that awful league

Plus if/ when we go down, it gives them pink skinned, trotter footed, snout nosed, truffle seeking baştards a reason to gloat!!

The problem we have is that Derby’s and Rotherham’s fixtures are just as crucial. We can’t survive without them playing their part.

I think we’ll beat Forest. Just got a feeling because we have to.

Don’t really fear going to Derby either.
Sadly, I think a factor out of our hands, will go against us.
But until it’s sorted, we’re still in there.

If we don't go down this year, we will next year.  No chance of improvement under the current ownership.

We are screwed...it wont matter at Derby cos we'll bottle the Forest game. We will flirt with relegation again next season whatever league we are in

They seem a mess on and off the field dont they, probably worse than we were under Fawaz. Our owners get a bit of stick sometimes deservedly but we could do far far worse and we need to remember that.

Another good 3pts awaiting here, against a forest side who are the 3rd lowest scorers in the league behind Wycombe & Derby.  Got my money on you to stay up and surely you can beat these and take it to the last game against a terrible Derby side thats as bad as can be, fill yer boots!

Wednesday doing there best to lose this by sounds of it

Not great, the only upside is that, mathematically, a draw was the same as a win. Still need Swansea to beat Derby which is what we'd have needed even if we'd won (and of course, Rotherham not to pull anthing out of the bag).

Pretty much ready for Fleetwood away next season at this stage.

Spineless performance from the 1st minute to the last ...we deserve relegation...

If we'd won we could got away with a Derby draw so not quite the same. I don't think Rotherham will be an issue, more how Derby do but like you ready for Fleetwood, probably bottle it against Derby even if it goes to last game.

We barely troubled the forest keeper in the 1st half,we didnt even look like we wanted the points, way too negative and littered with mistakes from Borner Reach and Westwood,Reach has had an awfull season, but this happens when players contracts are being wound down, they dont want a serious injury before joining there new clubs.

Could be a very interesting final weekend unless rotherham can pull of a win at Luton, if they dont Id at least like to see some fight from Wednesday in the final game.

I mean Westwood saved us but to be honest, I wish the season was over and done

Can’t complain about anything Pelupessy did today so he gets my vote.

Westwood’s penalty save was top class, his kicking was the opposite.

Palmer did OK but would have been much better at wing back.

Harris, Reach and Paterson were all diabolical. Green and Börner pretty dreadful too.

Gutless performance that sums up the whole season. Not even saving the penalty before half time was enough to fire a rocket up the backside of this utterly moribund squad.

Think it’s going to take while for me to get over this inept performance.

You’d think I’d be used to it by now but thought the players would be fired up and show some fight and be totally up and at them today but was the total opposite.

The coaching staff looked to be showing same defeatist attitude against a team totally on the beach and there for the taking.

A big percent of this game I saw us with a flat back 5 as Reach showing no will to run and Paterson puffing away like a 60 per day smoker.

Why no change of formation at any point to get more players forward ??

Basic stuff this and starting to question yet another failed management team who I don’t want to see here long term.

I think that it’s fair to say that Forest weren’t even average but they were better than us.
They should have had another penalty and Paterson  should have been sent off in the same incident.

Green , Harris and Reach were beyond bad and leaving Rhodes on the bench was scandalous.

I'm really not expecting an Astin Martin performance from JP. I know he's there for his defensive ability, but I know he has a shot on him from his time in Holland.

Pellupessy wasn't our worst performer by far this year or even today, but it says everything that a standard solid defensive performance gets MoM in a match they had to win. (Excluding the fact we knew Derby would lose)

I know JP has got more to offer, just like so many of the rest our players, but there not willing to put their kneck on the line to carve something out.

Today Bannan and Kaddeem and Windass were the only ones who appeared to be prepared to carve anything out. Only problem is there's only one brain between the three of them.

Thankfully the Rooney effect appears to have given us and Rotherham another chance.
