Garner is an obvious target & potentially Nelson.
Hughton seems to be well respected & hence I’m hoping for ( at least ) 3 quality additions.
I reckon Hughton will target some quality loans too. He's certainly a manager who teams would want to send their younger players to play for.

It is of course massively simplistic but it still employs sounder thinking than we used last summer.

Has anyone else got suggestions or players to keep an eye of?

I am sure Hughton, Brazil and Modesto have a few. They are the ones that matter.

Not done that great though have they, well more misses than hits.
All this is, is a bit of fun, and helps the future hindsight arguments like...."i said we should have bought Toney, or Whiteman or Ronaldo)
When ever we sign someone i stick neck out and may disagree with the signing, get called negative, but i rule out hindsight when i am proved right.
I have been wrong as well, biggest recent one was that I didnt think Cash would make it as a right back after watching him that pre-season (many on here said the same), thought he was too rash and not good defensively, but boy did i change my mind as he went from strength to strength.

Not sure that the Hughton, Brazil and Modesto combination have really had a chance to show what they are capable of yet.

Really?
Well lets see what the summer brings then?
Will Hughton look to his old campaigners again like Murray, Knockeart, Gosling and stick to keeping older players like Grabban, Colback ?
Modesto will struggle with the Brexit rules now.
Will Brazil get his input, he wanted Whiteman and we didnt get him and got Kronki instead, lets hope he doesnt bring in another Zach Clough and instead get more players like Garner?

Of course, Hughton, Brazil and Modesto is a new set up. They have had just a one month window in january. What were you expecting exactly in 30 days in the middle of the season? For the record we managed to sign Garner, Krovinovic and Murray.

We don't know that Brazil wanted Whiteman, merely that we showed an interest. You're just reading things between the lines that aren't necessarily there.
It was one of our most successful windows, we made two excellent loan signings that had a big impact, arguably the reason we have probably stayed up. We also avoided adding any more players on long contracts so that's a win too.

Dont forget Knockaert. He had a positive effect when he came in, imo.

An interesting list for sure but not actually sure we will see many like that come through the door this year. I still have doubt about CH as a manager as in he can only get his teams to play one way and that is conservatively. Everytime he has tried to step out of that box with teams they nose dive and he ends up sacked. So i think he will be very unlikely to try that again. So i expect to see more work horses over players who make things happen this season. Now i'm not saying he is not doing an ok job but i don't think you can expect next season to be much of a different set up style wise with the focus being on how we position without the ball and being difficult to beat rather than more open and attacking.
I can't guess who we might bring in but it will be very interesting.

I think we have already seen a change in his set up. He obviously got us solid and we have become more expansive based on that.
A few glaring holes mean we need players that are defensively solid but more attack minded. I think ‘disciplined’ is a Hughton player
