Just reading through everyone's comments-this one absolutely smacks the nail on the head.
I alluded to it in my pos/neg match summary.
Some of the bin the manager comments though .
? Seriously? Have we supporters not learnt anything?
If an experienced calm, gradual improvement type manager, especially the calibre of CH can't sort us out we are in trouble. It could be argued that those calling for his head -albeit after a crap performance- deserve what they get and have had for most of last 22 years.

We were poor today and we lost the battle but the war goes on.
It's been a while since we have seen a performance like that so I am not going to grumble too much.
My short term memory is not too bad and we have seen some good performances lately and some convincing displays against Swansea away, Brentford away and Millwall and QPR at home. Those performances were far better than anything we had previously seen under Lamouchi earlier in the season.
So yes we were crap today but looking at the bigger picture I am rather pleased and optimistic for next season.

Spot on. Seems that there appear to be a number of 'supporters' including a small number of posters here who have no view of bigger picture whatsoever.
Not for one minute suggesting everything is rosey in the Forest garden, but it could have been a whole lot worse if we hadn't been fortunate enough to secure such a steady pair of hands as Chris Hughton. Assuming he decides the players we go after (and we get some of them), then more improvements will follow.

I think we can safely say that - if he were undecided before today - he will have resolved not to attempt to get Knockaert again next season.

Positives...
- Garner showed scouts he needs another season in Championship.
- Mighten showed no matter how much you kick him and cheat, he will not hide and comes back for more. Puts to bed any "needs to learn to deal with physicality" bollox spouted in some places. How that RB stayed on?
- Although he has last laugh, Keogh demonstrated his full range of sh1tness.
- It was sunny.
- Sheep lost.
Negatives..
- Collectively a poor performance.
- Unable to score against a defence anchored by Keogh.
- Knockaert was a complete liability, in many ways he set the tone for the performance, giving the ball away, poor crosses, stupid fouls, petulance. He has served his purpose, would be silly to sign him again.
- The goals conceded were so sloppy and basic. Poor play and poor defending combined with poor keeping for 2nd.
- So toothless up front. With Mighten terrorising their RB, the others should have been able to contribute something. Or failing that give him the ball more, instead we had to watch Knockaert waste possession time and time again.
- Krovinivic looked lively for 15 minutes, but again final decision, pass or shot was the wrong one or poorly executed.
Will stop there as it was just one of those days and the negatives could encompass most of the players who wore the Garibaldi today.
Still a win from being sure of safety for me. Hopefully at Brum on Wednesday we can secure our place in Championship.
A no punches pulled assessment.
But a fair one.

I've been a fan of Knocker's skill and moments (too rare) of magic that have put valuable points on the board. But his attitude in the last two games, and particularly today, is the wrong kind of attitude. It's disruptive and destructive. Our Championship status could have been assured (all but) today. And guess what? It's all about Knocker trying to get even with a player who found the measure of his brittle ego. Just can't do it, can he? He can't swallow his pride for the team, put his head down and give his best. Over paid poser.
Mighten? Gets kicked, pushed, knocked and gets up again. A model professional and superb emerging talent that epitomises our Crown Jewel Academy. The contrast between he and the 'also ran' Knocker couldn't be greater. And that's why today's defeat is a bitter pill to swallow.
Any lingering chances Knocker had of being signed in the Summer by Forest are gone. He torpedoed not only the Forest performance today but any chances of getting signed by Hughton.
I'd like to see a Twitter clip of the B*LL*CKING Hughton gave him. He was lucky to stay on the pitch. Shocking attitude. And it's a poison that spreads through a team's fragile confidence. He's payed a shed load of money to bitch, whine and throw his arms up. It's disruptive.
He's served his purpose. I'd rather we re-signed Ameobi than Knocker. How we missed his bustling wing play today.

Spot on I also hope that we don't see him back here after his loan spell has ended, he's a waste of space and hasn't justified why we should be considering him as a possible permanent summer signing.
We need team players and not a prima donna, I really hope that CH shows some common sense when it comes to the summer transfer window and gives players like him a wide berth, we need younger fitter players that will fight for the honour to wear the shirt and not one's that only think of themselves and the £ signs, not good enough and Hughton hopefully will have learnt a big lesson from today....but somehow I don't so.

Yep. You cant have the worst player on the pitch earning the most money in the dressing room. Itd a recipe for disharmony.
