RE: New Website & Streaming Service

Just logged into the new all singing and dancing website to see what it is like and guess what, you go straight to the old one; the next match page is also on ifollow.

I rang the club; they said the migration did not go to plan over night and they are working on it.

I got the impression that they were not too confident that the problem would be fixed today and that no one would be working tomorrow; in fact no one would be back in the technical department until Tuesday.

There is a very quick fix for those who want to try and migrate their details over themselves:

1. Go to the ifollow page and click on next match:

2. The screen should appear showing details of the game and the time until kick off.

3. left click your mouse and choose "inspect" from the interface - the very bottom choice.

4. A panel will appear on the right hand side of the screen - you will see two rows of choices at the top of the panel - choose "properties" from the second row down.

5. When you click on properties a dropdown will appear with choices like - HTML Element - Element - Node - Event Target and Object - the very bottom choice should be "Migrate".

6. Click on Migrate, enter your client code - a command box will appear asking you to restart your PC.

7. Restart your PC and bingo, you get your welcome message from the big man himself.

If the migrate button does not appear restart your PC - if it does not appear after the restart call the office and ask for Dave in the migration team who will fix that.

I am having fun already. As I live abroad I pay for iFollow and so this season was using the EFL site. I went to log in to my iFollow account on the official site and it didn't recognise my password, so I pressed the forgotten password and they sent me a new password all in Capitals. I then went back to register my account and it wouldn't accept the password as there had be at least 1 lower case. D'OH!!!!

I think I have worked out what has happened. They have not replied with a new password but have sent a code for the match tomorrow - still waiting for my password to be sorted.

The website looks very good, just updated the app and that looks a massive improvement too.

Quick warning the registration process took me a few minutes to do and is a bit fussy, you get sent a verification code, then you need a strong password, have to fill in a bit of personal info. They want your mobile no and it has to be in +44....... format or it wont accept it. Dont leave it until 2 mins before kick off!

So is the match tomorrow on Ifollow or the forest site? On I follow the forest page takes you straight to the new forest site. On the forest site it is offering match passes to QPR and Bristol city not Cardiff? I may be P@**!d but am I missing something?

I read somewhere that the remaining matches this season will still be using ifollow on the forest site. Maybe it is ifollow doing the filming of the matches and Forest are still buying in until the end of the season
