That looks a lot healthier and if Forest win the next one... The 3 teams above Forest are on poor runs. It's an opportunity for Forest.

Forest have more steel, more technique, varied attacks, more progressive going forward off a more compact base, better game management, suffocate the life out of teams, clean sheets. Our goal difference is now a lot better than all the teams below us.

Like Hodge says. We just need to sort out front line out in the Summer. But for now, January's transfer business has brought Forest greater reach in games to claw the results needed for safety.

Blackburn used to be a bit of a bogey side for Forest. So getting that win is :). We're not that far away from them in the table points wise.

Like the positives.  Mighten really took that goal well. Boom. Goal. Worrall and Figs standing tall today. Figs putting his foot through the ball at one point. That Garner/Cafu CM partnership. Murray up front. He seems to unsettle back lines. (Could have scored today?). And you're right about the negatives.  Might be that the lads were tired after putting Swansea to task mid week.

If we can go back to back with another win, it will be another landmark moment in the season.  

The good news is we now have 'bodies' coming back from injury and can rotate the squad here and there with the likes of Freeman, Yates, Colback. I think we've missed Ameobi. So we have him and Sow to come back as well as Grabban with a hamstring strain.

4 points from next 2 would be very good... korinovic was my MOM- his defending from the front was outstanding and often goes unnoticed - he did give the ball away but he is always looking for a killer ball. Figgs and Worrall very good again and Christie was very good too.

Just reading through thread and yours jumped out at me. Agree re CBs and to an extent Christie but Krovinivic? Really? His daft shots, his falling over and at one point after 15 mins of 2nd half he had conceded possession every time he had the ball after the break. He does run around a fair bit- certainly did notice this-  but doesn't regain possession at all.

Conversely, when we had our really good 15 minutes in the 1st half he was very prominent with some nice link up play and passing to the wide men


I think hes an enigma still. I really desperately want him to be great in that role, opening up defences etc, but I'm not sure if he has created a single scoring opportunity other than on his debut? Hopefully, he will get into a good rhythm and we will see more of the good stuff for longer periods.

MOM though? Not for me.

I was thinking this too, can't remember him creating too much although he's generally involved earlier in our best moves. I wonder whether Cafu will get pushed up there to allow Yates to return at some point or perhaps give Freeman a chance in that position.

Hopefully, we'll be reasonably safe soon and cab experiment for next season. Also give mighten lots of games (although he wasn't amazing today, goal aside) expect he won't play against Rotherham

One telling remark from Hughton in recent interviews.  He upped our players 'volume' of training.  We seem to be far fitter than earlier in the season.  And 2 defeats in 13 tells its own story.

*Tiny violin for the Swans.  Swansea collapsing today is a vindication of how we put them to task and how far we've come.  They fell to defeat.  Karma for their last minute goal.  We got the win our performance last time deserved.
