I was one of those critical with the Forest decision to bring him in.

Already feeling a big dose of humble pie has been served, and I'm happy about that.
Now that he is a Forest player I hope he scores lots and plays well. Like his attitude in interview below.

From the Athletic
“He was a huge factor in me coming here. I did have other opportunities but Chris is probably one of the only men I would have moved for. I am not worried about the long term, what will be will be. I am here for 12 weeks and I am going to try to enjoy that as much as I possibly can. Then I will have a decision to make in the summer. If I can keep my form up like this, there will be options. If I do not score another goal, there won’t be.
“All I can do is work as hard as I can and enjoy playing my football. You never know what will happen, but I know that, from talking to friends and other players who have retired, you are a long time sat on that sofa. Right now my body feels good. I think it is well documented that I have never had much speed, which has worked out well for me, because I have not had any to lose.
“I feel as though deep down, I can still score goals at this level and, when I start to question that, it will be the time to start thinking about hanging (the boots) up. But in this game, I think it showed that there is a bit of life left in me just yet.”

Honestly, he put our other two strikers to shame in his first 60mins.

His movement and desire and even the fact his first instinct was to try that lob, he maybe 37 but on that showing, he is comfortably our best striker.

Looking at the pictures and video of him from Saturday he's clearly kept himself in excellent shape.

If someone like Teddy Sheringham - who was also never known for blistering pace - can keep contributing at a decent level until he's 40 - then maybe Murray can too.

It was a superb finish that first goal absolute top class. Not sure any of our other strikers could have finished it like Murray did.

It was a beautiful finish for his debut goal.

Run from outside the box and buries it. As accomplished a goal as you will see.

It turns up the heat for our other two strikers.

Age is just a number. Hughton has trust and belief in Him. I was never in doubt. You need a target man in the Championship.

Murray. Everything our forward line has been missing.

Hip Hip Murray.

I hope he keeps doing well, as the humble pie I ate on Saturday night tasted delicious.

We have been crying for a player like him all season. I said this months ago that we needed 'an Adebola', the way how we play suits more Murray than Grabban and Taylor. My guess is that for those two to be used more, they will end up have to play in the number 10 role or wingers. Unless Murray tires up ...CH will be starting with him each game.
Side note, how old is Ibrahimovic? And fof whom is he playing these says...

Not that I`m a fan of American football but read yesterday the Quarterback for the team who won the superbowl is 43. Impressive and just goes to show what is possible if you look after yourself properly. I was 100% in the too old camp however it was more a fear of the deal we`d have to put in place to sort as assumed as a target man it was never about pace. Its still too early for me to be 100% but I`m fairly sure he will help us move to midtable and will be motivated to try and extend his deal if he can. Looks to be good business.

Murray is not the first and he won't be the last.

Ibrhimovic, Phillips, Windass, Sheringham.
